I think they forgot to post in on Social media (at least there is nothing on Instagram and facebook).

But it is on their webiste.

And Tomora too. I still don't know who they are (but it is on the poster). I thought they were talking about Tomara (the Portuguese band), but it seems not.

Pulp would be great. Byrne could be a shout, but he is playing in Cascais that week so I wonder if he would play two shows within a couple of days in basically the same area. I'd not complain if he did though.

Ah I wasn't aware he was turning up elsewhere in Portugal, and indeed somewhere fairly near Lisbon if my Portuguese geography is loosely accurate. Nevermind then.

Wrong about what? Not liking Foos and 21 Pilots or thinking that only three bands can be healiners each festival?

That Florence and Nick aren’t headliners there… they are.  You can band it as co-headliners with a Lorde and certainly TOP though

I dont like Cave at all really but he and TOP will be headliners. If Mad Cool have got him as a headliner with who they booked there is about 1% chance that Nos don't.

Now you’ve said that just realised NOS have all of the MC headliners over 3 days instead of 4.  Impressive.  And they have Lorde, Wolf Alice, Teddy Swims, Matt Berdinger, Palaye Royale, Dogstar and TWOD.  Going to be very very similar

So, for you, this year the three headliners are Nick, Foo and 21? I just don't think so, but could be...

Well that was quite obvious, but they won't have the depth under that Mad Cool as they have done it over 3 and not 4, they will do well though. TOP and Cave for me even on Mad Cool are not that important but I'll accept TOP and enjoy what I like as I would have at Werchter. Foos are carrying  a lot of weight this year. Also getting upto Liverool isn't  as easy as hopping on the train to London for Wembley as LP was. Also Matt Berdinger and Dogstar are really average haha

Well it’s obvious now I’ve read the lineups properly.   Pretty solid lineups all round really

Only one thing: the fact that, in a three days festival, there can only be three bands as headliners.

No there can't, if two acts play the dame set length the same day at the top they'll are co-headliners. If two acts play and one has 1hr 15 vs 1hr 30 then they aren't. The only other time is when one had 1.5 and one had like 2hrs 15 but 1.5hrs is sufficient enough to say they are a headliner.

The upstake they'll have on MC I presume anyway is that one of TOP or Nick Cave won't be the biggest one at the top. But Moby, Lorde, KOL, Halsey and Pulp which they won't all have makes up for it. I don't currently consider Nos as an option to go, a friend did though some years back and enjoyed it.

I also keep forgetting who is headlining the Friday which also probably shows where O am but there are options.

Foo Fighters are 200% headliners.

Florence is the headliner for her day , no way Lorde is even considered co headlining , she´s not that big in portugal but she will play before florence for sure

21 Pilots and Nick Cave are co headliners for sure

Lorde is at NOS too and yeah we’ll see who else turns up.  Always like putting my clashfinder together after they’re all announced to see what I’d of preferred

    • Here's a bit of a wild stab, few placings may be off, and for all I know half of these won't actually be touring next year, but screw it, it's a bit of fun   Pyramid: Sabrina Carpenter, Phoebe Bridgers, TBA (Florence + The Machine), Garbage, The Last Dinner Party, Interpol, Alex James Britpop Classical Other: Chase & Status, Teddy Swims, Clairo, The Kooks, Zara Larsson, Kingfishr, Sports Team, Orbital West Holts: Robyn, Baby Keem, De La Soul, Deltron 3030, JID, Dua Saleh, kwn, Daniela Latila Woodsies: Bonobo, Darkside, TBA (Tame Impala), Laufey, Warmduscher, Wednesday, The Lottery Winners, The Royston Club, Florence Road Park: Patti Smith, Super Furry Animals, Slayyyter, The Cardigans, Skye Newman, Kelly Lee Owens, Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers   Pyramid: Harry Styles, The xx, Richard Ashcroft, The Pogues, Jessie J, Sigrid, Travis Other: Rosalia, Sombr, Mitski, Alex Warren, Holly Humberstone, Cat Burns, Pale Waves, Yard Act West Holts: Basement Jaxx, Elyanna, Clipse, L’Imperatrice, Nation of Language, Jim Legxacy, Yazmin Lacey, RIP Magic Woodsies: Suede, Chvrches, Bleachers, MUNA, The Cribs, Keo, Bleech 9:3, The Lilacs Park: MARINA, Magdalena Bay, Jacob Alon, TBA (Lily Allen performs West End Girl), Getdown Services, Isaac Wood, Snail Mail, Madra Salach Pyramid: Sam Fender, Hozier, David Byrne, Cher, Obongjayar, David Gray, Billy Ocean Other: Doja Cat, Deftones, Addison Rae, Ren, Viagra Boys, Maisie Peters, The Reytons, Hard Life West Holts: Kano, Thievery Corporation, Angine De Poitrine, Thee Sacred Souls, Brooke Combe, Sasha Keable, Master Peace Woodsies: The Wombats, Metronomy, Geese*, Dry Cleaning, EsDeeKid, Sienna Spiro, Cowboy Hunters, Radio Free Alice Park: Big Thief, Laura Marling, MJ Lenderman, Richard Dawson, Oklou, Maruja, Dead Dads Club, Ratboys   *There's always one band booked for Woodsies that ends up being massively under-billed and gets shut down really early. • Another Kraftwerk one for me today, as just back from seeing them.
    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
