Feeling annoyed… 29th December I emailed trees asking for the refund option they offered with tickets purchased in July, still haven’t had any response!

So never considered that if contacting any organisation over the Christmas period it might take a while to get an answer?

My partner requested our refund a while back and it took 2 weeks to get the refund with no bank holidays/festive celebrations etc between the request and the refund date. Pretty sure you will here back in the coming weeks when all their team are back at work.

You'll still get it, emails are dated so they'll know when you asked for it. They're not gonna be working at Christmas/New Years like most.

Feel like I'm checking my emails daily looking for an announcement of an announcement. Hell I'd take an announcement of an announcement of an announcement.

yeah i really hope we get something soon

I've got the 2nd week in feb as my guess as it still feels like we are far away from it

They wouldn't do it middle of the month as they tend to aim for just before pay days. Arcane Roots return single being out on the 27th would be the tip off.

Yeh end of Jan, then end of March for the final drop I think would make sense.

Billy Talent announcing 20th anniversary of II on 26th Jan (from what I gather of their instagram post) fits in well with next headliner announcement! Love that band!

Well Trees announcement isnt til first week of Feb now so it won't correlate with Billy Talent. Doesn't mean it wont be them, might want their headline dates out before festivals

Sounds like Trees isn't quite as sewn up as ATG

There is definitely room in their schedule before heading to Canada

There's room but the blurs on the poster seems to suggest they'll be between the 15th & 19th June. And 26th June to the 10th July is quite a big gap to still be in Europe for so can probably rule them out now unfortunately

The thing that doesn't quite rule it for for me is that leak that has them playing in the UK at that Offspring gig and the fact that PUP are also playing both that show AND Trees so it's not entirely out of the question yet

It's also possible they weren't allowed to reveal the UK dates on their tour poster today due to playing Trees, maybe the deal is they have to be announced at the same time

    • Think Pulp are optimistic, not in terms of size but just that they've been on the road (albeit not intensively) for 3 years in a row and it feels like EotR is the deliberate end of the cycle.   Would be fairly surprised if they're active next year.
    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
    • No argument that he’s bigger than ever, I just have no enthusiasm for it.
    • Keep in mind those crowds were full of teenagers. Glasto aint full of teenagers. Theres no way she could demand headline and get it because they got other acts to give the slot to who deserve it with a bigger catalog. Reading/Leeds would headline her cause its still LN.  If the fest was struggling its Other headline. But a 3rd down Pyramid is likely the landing spot. Itll go down like the Camila Cabello performance pretty much.
