Anything else on the cure? There was people suggesting them doing Lytham due to Robert Smith from being from Blackpool.

me too. They will also need a cheaper option with Calvin and The Cure. I can't deny, that's a decent set of 3 for me and wouldn't rule me out with a decent undercard. That would be two solid years of headliners for me as well at IOW.

I don't think Florence would necessarily be cheaper than The Cure than we think.

She would be cheaper, it might not be massive but she'll definitely be cheaper. She isn't going to need paying for 2.5 hours of a gig for a start.

Would be close, but honestly, think she'd charge more these days. Three years and a lot has happened with inflation, but her arena tour pricing is higher than The Cure for the latter's 2022 tour. Plus there is a larger production, stage and touring crew.

 

She is a cheaper headline option, absolutely - much like The 1975, she's not priced herself preposterously out of the conversation yet. But The Cure will be far from expensive compared to some others.

Florence would be a very poor R&L headliner option i think - far more likely to do IOW or similar.

BST is in July so not sure that would impact. His tour starts in Dublin 23rd June, would think IOW would be a good warm up, seems possible looking at the festivals he's already signed on for too

I could be wrong but I don’t think BST and IOW share acts do they? Can’t imagine they’d be happy trying to sell tickets for the festival when he’s selling hundreds of thousands of tickets on the mainland.

You've got no chance of Lewis currently subbing IOW, he's already headlined it previously before doing these huge gigs.

You might get Calvin, Lewis and The Cure. I think with him only doing it in 2022 though it might be too soon though unsure without looking.

I’d be absolutely amazed if IOW don’t have a cheaper 3rd headliner to go with Calvin and The Cure.  The call of Bryan Adams is actually a very good one and certainly fits with what IOW offers.  Raye would be another one too that i think could easily do it

If she plays I think she’d headline now.  Headlined both Victorious, Boardmasters plus getting very high positions everywhere.
