Bryan Adams is a very good shout.

 

Arcade Fire's crowd in 2017 was one of the smallest I've seen for a headliner at IOW - I don't think they'll be back again.

I was quite surprised by the lack of tour/festivals after the new album last year, is your info only saying IoW or any other festivals in the pipeline too?

My thoughts exactly.

Those lucky few who attended the album launch gigs at BBC Radio Theatre and/or Troxy last year were in for a real treat. So jealous of them.

Has Bryan dropped this at one of his launch shows? He confirmed a 2027 RAH gig at the first Leeds night.

No idea, ive only really used it as another's suggestion. Aside from The Cure, it wouldn't be as good as this years headliners.

The Cure helps most line-ups look better to be fair.

 

Adams one of those artists who, if he took a few years off touring, could possibly come back and play some big open-air shows.

 

But because he pretty much hits the UK every year in some configuration or other, there's no pent-up demand ever required. It's not difficult to see him in most parts of the country.

Sounded like doing the early summer EU tour route (assume festivals), not sure about UK
