Feel like the Glastonbury of a few years ago would’ve had her on lock and booked her before she really took off, but given they’ve had form for missing out on some rising American acts the last couple of years I’m pessimistically thinking that’s what’s gonna happen here. She seems to be getting some pretty sizeable slots at other European fests and I don’t think Glastonbury would be as generous with what they offer her now that she’s blown up.

Does Doechii have enough material to headline WH? It means an hour and half set and if she played literally every single one of her songs that would fill about 1 hour 10m. More suited to an hour set middle of the day on Pyramid I reckon

Really impressed with the slot she's landed, West Holts bookers on form as ever.

West Holts has had the best bookers on site for as long as I can remember, going back to the 90’s at least.

Given me a problem though, Charli or Doechii

This still stands - does she have enough to fill a WH headline set? I'm guessing she might be releasing some more tracks this year, or they'll give her 1 hr 15 mins.

For anybody on the fence between those two acts: the main focus of each set will be on their respective newest albums, so just pick whichever you liked best to ensure you'll hear all those album cuts that you won't be guaranteed in the future.

The other consideration is how they perform live. I’ve experienced acts that I’ve really enjoyed live but can’t listen to otherwise and vice versa

Watch Doechii's Small Desk Concert

Cheers

Would your recommendation be Doechii?

WH does have some advantages over the Other: more compact and better looking arena, far better crowd in general, closer to home (for me) etc

Was going to say closer to SE corner, but I may be heading to Glade/Arcadia/SH depending on lineup

    • Don Broco secret set.
    • Regarding PinkPantheress: I watched the ending of The Cure from the back and then bolted straight to Cupra to save spots on the steps for my entire festival crew. Thus, we all had a good experience there. Sucks that not everybody got to properly see it, but it felt like something out of Glastonbury where those who showed up long in advance got to see a big artist on a smaller stage in good conditions.
