Parkway would also be much cheaper than all of those though

Pantera is one thing but Manson is another. He’s a legitimate mainstream media personality. Your Mum knows who Marilyn Manson is, she likely doesn’t know who Phil Anselmo is or who Pantera are. His tour and cancellations etc. got actual mainstream UK media coverage. I don’t think DL want that smoke.

Exactly!!!!

We shall see I guess. My 3 subs that would get my interest would be ADTR, MM and Halestorm.

I don’t see Halestorm but to be fair they could be announced in second wave. I wouldn’t be shocked if Bad Omens were announced in the second wave or on their own like Limp Bizkit were in 2024. Band could say they want to wait until their uk tour has finished to not effect final ticket sales. Then it could also boost download sales if they’re announced after their tour as people will be hyped to see them again perhaps.

For me main subs are ADTR Volbeat Bad Omens.

Second stage headliners are Trivium, Megadeth and Alice Cooper.
I reckon Soft Play will be there but not sure where to slot them.

I mean fans got one of his gigs cancelled. I simply think Download decide not to take the risk.

Gig still got cancelled. Point stands I don’t see Download wanting to bring that level of mainstream controversy. I of course could be completely wrong.

Didn't stop them announcing Bullet in 2024 and while MM tickets can still be got most dates are showing low availability, Bullet was so easy to get compared. I literally picked up my arena ticket for them on the day really cheap rather than paying £70

I'll point out also, I'd rather MM not be there as if other dates at least look poor the less to interest me the better.

Volbeat would be a very weak sub. They literally have tickets of every type available for their tour apart from Manchester and they are charging £52 for a standing ticket and can't shift them, that's an academy price for many of the bigger academy one's now which is really what they should have done. If you can't sell out Wembley Arena in London it's not a great look. It's the London dates and Manchester that get you places but Volbeat would be better just being 3rd down or second stage headliner.

Trivium, Volbeat, Alice as second stage wouldn't surprise me.

Here’s a way, way too early 2027 prediction:

Headliners and subs are so much better than what’s touted this year. Defo see Deftones doing it. That Friday Apex run is a banger. Alice In Chains seem to have had a bump in popularity recently so can defo see them touring sooner rather than later.

Deftones are the most likely, I think. I would like to think that AIC will record some new material as Rainier Fog was all the way back in 2018!

In my mind this made me think that bands create fake line up posters just to pass the time on long drives on tour and the concept just seemed kinda funny to me.

I wonder if any do it just to sh*t stir. Wargasm I think would do it for their own vain promotion 😂
