Linkin Park is already performing the 22th at HellFest

Just checked their schedule and that day is free. Not confirmed yet but could well be a question of time if this thread's insinuations are correct.

I'll be surprised if this isn't confirmed next week.

If I was a betting man right now I'd go similar to:

Korn

Judas Priest

Sleep Token

Deftones

Linkin Park (most confident about this one due to being ruled out of Graspop as Werchter booked them and that obvious gap on the 22nd)

Next 2 names I'd put up are Slayer & Muse. Scorpions maybe on same day as Priest.

Slayer: I don't know whether that is emotion leading me, you feel if they are going to do anything in Europe it will be Hell. But it's a big IF.

Muse I wouldn't have thought about them until Foos headlined this year.

On ST: unsure if headline or a sub/2nd stage, there's huge hype and a lot of fests are bumping them to headline but Hell somehow manages to book headline bands elsewhere as subs - looking at QOTSA. They were weirdly announced as "exclusive" for Rock AM Ring but that was later removed from them and kept for BMTH.

Agree with completely ruling out: Green Day (too pop/schedules clash), Gojira (whole tour announced later in the year, plus doing back end of festival season), BMTH (Rock Am Ring exclusive), Ghost (likely 2026), Maiden (scheduling doesn't work), Sabaton (tour for autmumn/winter booked, likely 2026)

Almost ruled out Slipknot as feels too soon to have them back, Graspop forums feel they are surely booked there and that would make the scheduling pretty intense for them (they would headline Graspop, Copenhell and Hellfest 3 days in a row)

Other bigger bands I could see making an appearance are: A Day to Remember (possible 2nd stage headline?), Sex Pistols & Frank Carter, In Flames, Till Lindemann, Falling in Reverse, Spiritbox, Within Temptation, Knocked Loose and Turnstile

Where‘s the 25th for an announcement coming from? Any hints or official info when this will drop?

I thought it was coming tomorrow tbf.

Could just be based on the literal first page of this thread saying "announcement around November 25"

From organisation, interview in this magazine. But that was 2 months ago, probably something changed

I guess we'll keep waiting if Monday turned out to be premature after all.

Not like we have a choice tbf.

The ticketsale for Graspop starts next week Saturday. It would not suprise me in the least if Hellfest starts a countdown on Monday to reveal the full line-up on Friday (or something like that). I've got a feeling that if there are any surprise acts in store for these festivals, they'll be announced next week.

Really hoping for an announcement this/next week. Generally, they couldn't care less about announcement since they're sold out and Day tix will not come this year. Still there are people that have ticket but still not decided if they'll go... and other festivals are announcing line ups and may sold out by the time Hellfest announces:/

An announcement will be posted in the coming days, indicating the release date of the line-up. A little more patience.”

Rock Am Ring are announcing their final headliner on Wednesday and for the lineup they have for that day, I think it will be a shared one with Hellfest.

I'm thinking of announcement of the announcement on Monday and then full lineup dropped on Wednesday

I don‘t think it‘s someone they‘ve been waiting for for Rock am Ring. I wouldn‘t expect surprises.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
