Fair enough, didn't find those. But at 81 and 78 years old, and with Ray having documented health problems - they'd be fighting against the clock especially with the next festival 2 years away. The fact that it's all gone quiet since those articles doesn't give me any hope that anything is even possible like alone likely.

I don't agree with you here, do you want to name these supposed two most important acts? Surely one would be Neil Young and the other Olivia Rodrigo. Both headliners.

LBC, Gold Radio

Now bear in mind I didn’t say best, I said most important. Although for me they were among the best.

The two are the mighty BV and Kneecap

Glad you liked it better than I did. Found her set to be superficial and lightweight. Lots of dull album tracks. If people thought Dua Lipa used too much backing tape at Glasto, they'd have a conniption at how much Sabrina relied on it. Whereas I'm still not a fan of Chappell, but her Primavera set was an objectively good pop show and would be a much better fit for Glasto.

 Chappell would be yes.

Why is BV important?

Amazed that anyone even questions this. In the current political climate and with what’s going on in Gaza. Anyone who speaks out against what Israeli are doing and is not afraid to speak their mind against the ever increasing censorship is extremely important

I don't know. Felt compulsory to condemn the genocide and wave a Palestine flag this year. It's hardy punk rock shouting f**k Israel and f**k Starmer at Glastonbury.

Yes he makes his set about let's kill people, he's f**ked himself more than anything. Say your peace but on a stage at a music festival just sings your songs. Blokes a bit of an idiot if truth me told. Just do a segment about free Palestine if you have to.

I'll be surprised if he's booked for any major British festival anytime soon.

For me the most important sets were Horsegirl because I can't stop listening to their album ever since....and Osees because my mate said they're amazing live and they really were, so good that along with all the stuff I was taking at the time I did a little puke.

BBC iPlayer - Glastonbury - Osees - Toe Cutter - Thumb Buster

I see Ariana pulling a Gaga and leaning into movies for the next few years. Touring pop star Ariana won't be around for a while.

That'd be good. No interest in her music but thought she was great in Wicked

What a load of nonsense. Would you have had Bob Dylan stop signing his protest songs. Billy Bragg stop signing and talking about politics etc, etc.

Having seen Bob Vylan numerous times I can 100% say that they are among the most intelligent, compassionate and genuine people I’ve ever seen on a stage. A breath of fresh air among some of the asinine, dull and formulaic nonsense the public has shoved down their throats. They are arguably among the most genuinely punk bands of all time.

Neither of them are getting on stage, pn a televised set as well and chanting death death at people. There is a way of doing thing and that idiot cancelled his career in that moment.

You’ll be surprised. Plenty of venues and events will still book them. Thankfully there are still some people out there who see through the hypocritical politically motivated censorship

Nah most of the people that are angry at them will have forgotten in a couple of media cycles and will be raging against the next thing

After the backlash Radar got - none of there other show (excluding the USA ones obviously) are cancelled and id bet any that are not sold out almost certainly now are.   Bob Vylan since Glastonbury are more popular than they have ever been, while i get why some people might think there career is finished -  it almost certainly is not - in fact the fact that they pissed of a sh*t tonne of people who never would have bought tickets to there shows in the first place makes 0 difference.

If there around next year - Loads of festivals will get them booked.

To suggest Bobby Vylan is stupid shows that you: hate him, disagree with his politics or have never listened to what he says or raps about

He’s an extremely intelligent person who knows exactly what he’s saying and has thought deeply about it

    • The Great Fete Festival (Sunday Only) Ocean Colour Scene day on Tickets For Good.
    • I was also at Ghost but seated. When they scanned my ticket's and they came up as seated they printed a small ticket with the seat number info.
    • I was standing for Ghost at O2 London last year where they put the phone in a pouch beforehand so I assume they're is a mechanism in place for people in seats.
    • Most likely not, keeping an eye on Tixel and Twickets might be the best option.
