App not live yet but sure I saw that the Truck App had gone live which is same weekend.

They are very late this year. Last year was start of June. Still wondering if they have Richard Hawley to add to Friday, in which case, after his York gig on Saturday

Found it a bit odd both him and Self Esteem arent on the lineup this year. Self Esteem looked brilliant at Glasto.

Self Esteem is probably headlining next year, has a Sheffield arena date to shift this year. I'd have said before she wasn't "big" enough for the spot, and better fit as a sub, but if Reytons can do it, basically anybody considered local is a headliner now.

My hunch is there's room for one more on the Friday main stage. RH more likely than SE based upon his closeness to Pulp.

They have both recently headlined RnR at Don Valley at c. 2/3 capacity. SE core audience then (2 years ago) was a large proportion of women and LGBT, so a bit off from the standard Tramlines crowd, but after her Glasto set could be a much bigger contender for next year.

Anyhow, not long to wait to see if either of them make it onto this year's billing.

Set times are out. I just don’t understand.

How isn’t CMAT on the main stage? How is she only doing 30 minutes?

I am happy Red Rum Club are finally getting a decent slot though, just saw them do 40 minutes at Glastonbury which isn’t enough for them.

Saying this i will be giving them a miss for Last Dinner Party because i have seen them about 4 times in the last year and have tickets for them in October.

Some rough clashes this year

My favoutite band RRC so looking forward to an hour from them.

Thought The K's would have had longer.

Really not feeling it this year.  Pulp - can't wait but not bothered about much else on the Friday so will just go in about 6pm.

Saturday and Sunday I love RRC and The K's but seen them both loads and also seen the majority of the others all a couple of times.  I usually find a few bands not seen before but struggling this year.

First year we've skipped since 2019, also the first year we didn't get early bird in August, so it's almost like we somehow knew the lineup would be poor (for our tastes). Been desperately trying to convince myself it's still worthwhile as really gutted to miss a Tramlines, but the lineup is so poor for me that even a free ticket probably wouldn't get me there in the end.

I guess the vast majority of people posting here will be spending all weekend at Hillsborough park, but for anyone interested in the fringe, I've put together a clashfinder again this year. It's pretty much there bar a few venues now, but most timings are tbc until Exposed/Welcome to Sheffield publish them (I believe a week on Thursday).

Please give me a shout if you spot anything missing/wrong

Absolute hero, this is one hellova achievement! We're definitely hitting up the Fringe between the bucket hat landfill on Saturday and Sunday.

Any after parties?

any recommendations for Saturday? Franz Ferdinand is my only must see that day

No news on after parties, but thought the old Leadmill folks would be looking for a venue.

Saturday for me is more or less just Franz and the Futureheads. Now that I've got a freebie for Y Not, I might even skip Saturday and see Franz there instead

I was gonna suggest Sidney & Matilda. I'll definitely be there on Friday for Alexis Taylor and Saturday night for Night Owls. Night Owls is always a great night that doesn't take itself too seriously.

Hi, does anyone know the best way to get the bus back to town from the park after each day? We’re staying at the premier inn on young street. Thanks 🙂

You could use the tram, get off at University or West Street then a short walk, or most buses go through town. Try the First bus app to get a more precise hit for your location. They go from Penistone Road and Hillsborough barracks at the back. You're likely to get a better hit rate on Penistone road.

More general info on service changes here - including services affected by road closures

    • Solid list...  but i must ask?  are you excluding Lime Garden & Tomora as you didn't like them or is it that you havent listened to them?
    • It was Brooklyn last year, and I seem to remember a Guinness tent
    • That leaker off Instagram was saying earlier this year that Nickelback are doing a tour with Broco and Wargasm, but no evidence as yet
    • Gojira are unoficially confirmed by the organisation at Hellfest since last December already.   Slayer was supposed to be this year as a Mainstage 2 headliner at the place of Volbeat for a thrash day but negotiations fell off. Very likely to be there next year.    MCR I didn't know about but it fits well with Hellfest's desire to keep one day as more punk/rock orientated.    Europe are a confirmed headliner for Sweden Rock 2027. They will not headline HF but we may seem them on the bill. I am very curious who will be the legacy bands next year at HF. There was some backlash after 2025 and a bit of a return to heavier metal on the bill in 2026 - e.g. Gatekeeper on the main stage. The only considerable legacy acts I see coming (if they are in Europe) and haven't been at HF for a while are Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Slash, FFDP (if you count them as legacy), ZZ Top, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. I really hope they manage to pull sth big for the 20th anniversary like AC/DC.
