Saturday is really, really, really weak.

And Hot Chip DJ as an act tells you how much they must have spent on Pulp.

Friday

Spiritualized

Hot Chip DJ | Baxter Dury | I Monster | Oracle Sisters

Saturday

THE REYTONS

Franz Ferdinand

Rizzle Kicks | Natasha Bedingfield | Jake Bugg | The K’s | Hearther Small | The Futureheads | The Rosadocs | Freddie Halkon

Chloe Slater | K Dot | Daydreamers | She’s in the Parties | The Leadmill Studio Orchestra | Everly Pregnant Brothers (Special Guest)

Sunday

KASABIAN

The Last Dinner Party

The Lathums | Sigrid | CMAT | (SG) Scouting for Girls | The Sherlocks | The Royston Club | Luvcat | Cliffords

Feeling like a real stick in the mud looking at that lineup and thinking it's worse than last year for me! But I'm totally aware that it'd go down well with most people so credit to the bookers (well credit for getting Pulp really), bit sad to miss the first Tramlines since 2019 but with gig/festival costs rising can't justify it when there's so much else to spend £££ on now.

CMAT, Spiritualized, Hot Chip (albeit DJ set), The Futureheads all nice additions for me there. Shame no Wunderhorse but that’s a weekend ticket for me, desperate to finally tick Pulp off the list

I wouldn't purely on cost attend all 3 days if I lived closer to the festival and just go in each day.

Looks really think like that.

And let's be absolutely honest, Friday really is Pulp headlining Hillsborough Park as the acts on that would never, ever usually play Tramlines. Does make you wonder why Pulp didn't just do it themselves.

Likely because Pulp have a double deal in with either Victorious or Boardmasters which we'll find out by this week that offered them a better deal that doing it themselves.

I tell you what, Pulp have obviously eaten a lion share of the budget but you don’t get days like theirs at many of these superstruct fests. Couple that with the cost of seeing the other acts I want to see across the weekend at their own gigs and I can definitely justify the weekend

Obvs loads more to come, and the Pulp day is the least fleshed out so far, but unless there's loads of cross-over with Y Not, will likely go for the weekend.

Good to see a few curve balls... Spiritualised, Hot Chip, John Grant...

What I really want to know is who the Friday special guest will be. Probably very unlikely, but I'm hoping for Richard Hawley or Self Esteem, to keep it in the Sheffield family.

I think if they don't pull out some "mainstream" names it might be half empty until 7pm. They probably aim to achieve this with the Special Guest....

At least I don't care about the Sat and Sun Special Guests this year!

    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
