This week, normally in Europe there is nothing.

yes, and then there is Eurosonic festival (15-19 January), which usually means no (or few) festival news.

I might be dreaming but could the final headliner be Eminem?

there are big rumours about him doing an European tour next year.

At this point its the only big name i can think of that hasnt announced anything

It's 2025.

If anything, artists the size of Eminem will be doing stadiums instead of festivals for way more cash.

It's not the worst shout in the world, although...

this, plus the only rumors about his 2025 tour so far were about London dates in October

Sam Fender is headliner at Rock Werchter, a bit strange to be co-headlining at alive.

Different artists are bigger in different countries though. He's headlining RW, but wouldn't headline most big festivals even in the UK. He's also not hradliner at Southside in Germany.

How popular is he in Portgual?

This is the real question. I can be trapped in a bubble, but I think something like Girl in Red is much popular.

He's already headlined some of the biggest UK festivals with Reading and Leeds being biggest, and there's talk of him headlining Glastonbury too.

He's absolutely massive in the UK.

I think that’s the reason behind him being booked for NOS Alive. Said that to my girlfriend minutes ago. We can’t forget that this festival sells a lot of tickets on the UK.

Very much doubt he headlines Glasto... He did headline Reading/Leeds but that was since they started having 6 "headliners"... Others who have taken that slot are Catfish and the Bottlemen, Foals, Liam Gallagher, Lewis Capaldi... These would've been nowhere near headline slot until they changed the program format.

I wouldn't say he's absolutely massive... Quite popular yeah, but for his recent show at Co-op live it was pretty easy to get tickets so he's not that in demand.

OK, not my first choice, but he's fine. Heard a lot of good things about his live shows, plays big venues in the UK and should be a good sing-a-long. Standard and appeal of headline acts this year is pretty poor though.

He's massive in Newcastle, sold out St. James' Park for 3 nights.

Does he has some hit songs in Portugal?

His new stuff is basically the War on Drugs fronted by Sam Fender. Wouldn't be surprised if they get added to this as well.

He’d 100% headline Glastonbury. No other position for him now

But a very, very watered down version of War On Drugs then. Can't imagine WOD releasing anything as watered down as Fender's last single (People Watching)...
