  1. Makes little sense. The Killers have 6 straight nights in the O2 arena until 11/07, so they had only available the 12nd (Dua Lipa) or the 13th (Pearl Jam). NOS needed someone for 11/07 so they ended up inking Arcade Fire. Mad Cool couldn't because a) BBK already had them, so unlikely they would share b) Arcade Fire had no avaliable dates for MC (they play 11 NOS, 12 Sevilla, 13 Bilbao). So they went with The Killers and I don't think it was their main option since they already played in 2022, probably a sub for FF or someone else they may have lost.
  2. If you've got Foo Fighters you announce them right away. And then if you have another headliner (the same that Rock en Seine, Reading/Leeds, Cabaret Vert, etc. have and will also announce tomorrow) you announce it later.
  3. More like it won't be because there are no days left for them (they play 11 NOS, 12 Sevilla, 13 BBK and the 10th already has all its headliners announced). They could still share something with BBK even though there's a big rivalry between the two.
  4. 24M for 2023. https://www.elmundo.es/cultura/musica/2023/07/06/64a709abe85ece90648b457f.html The "increase" may not be compared to last year but to their initial 2023 budget. A bit weird though knowing it's now a 4 day festival. 22M income with 3M in profits in 2018 (actual results, not budget) https://www.infoempresas.pro/empresa/mad-cool-festival-sl/
  5. That someone can't really read spanish. The article says that if they end up closing that booking their initial budget will increase... (to reach a TOTAL of 23 million). https://elpais.com/cultura/2023-12-11/pearl-jam-dua-lipa-tom-morello-avril-lavigne-mad-cool-anuncia-cartel-y-promete-solucionar-la-masificacion.html Also, 23.000.000€ / 70.000 pax = 328,57€ extra per daily ticket to cover the cost. Stop doing drugs.
  6. Not to mention they did delete 2024 dates from the bio. They went full retard even by their standards, which were extremely retarded already.
  7. La razón is a (bit facist) spanish newspaper.
  8. Sure they might not be happy with Mad Cool but Last Tour booked AM for Cala Mijas (2022) and BBK (2023), both direct competitors to Andalucía Big (same city) and Mad Cool (same weekend). It's more like others winning the bid than AM rejecting Mad Cool.
  9. Yes, he said that. https://www.foroazkenarock.com/t58306p100-ask-me-anything-gabi-ruiz-primavera-sound-finalizado#7087783
  10. No. It's Primavera Sound Madrid the one that will be held in Arganda del Rey. Apparently the new Mad Cool space will be set here.
