If it's going to be a May announcement, like suggested, then maybe that also points towards it starting in May. There's definitely no need to be doing tickets more than 12 months out. Think the sale was the very end of August last time, for the UK gigs.

Maybe the UK legs are done by the end of June. Leaves July/August for Europe; not withstanding a Glastonbury shaped hole 👀

sounds pretty likely, would have to be end of May though for the season to finish.

Will be interested to see how much the setlist gets tweaked. Part of me thinks any follow-up run might just be the same batch in the same order.

I expect five or six changes (if they don't release a new album).

Columbia, Lyla, Go Let It Out, The Importance Of Being Idle, The Shock Of The Lightning, Stop Crying Your Heart Out

They gonna drop Songs like Hello, Bring It On Down, Fade Away, Talk Tonight, Cast No Shadow, D'You Know What I Mean?

Had a go at an alternative set list without playing a single song from Live 25, in the same structure - would still be a great time with several #1 singles!

Swamp Song - intro
Columbia

Be Here Now

Lyla

Up In The Sky

Shakermaker

Round Are Way

Stay Young

Go Let It Out

She’s Electric

D’Yer Wanna Be A Spaceman - N

Sad Song - N

Step Out - N

Gas Panic

The Hindu Times

Don’t Go Away

The Shock Of The Lightening

All Around The World

Falling Down - N

The Importance Of Being Idle - N

Stop Crying Your Heart Out

I Am The Walrus

Sounds like Noel wants Glasto, Liam not so sure

That is very interesting. Suggests to me that if/when the call comes, fee depending, it could well happen.

Let's face it - Noel will ultimately still call the shots and if he positions it to Liam as righting some of the past wrongs there, I can't see Liam saying no.

He also surely can't hate the pyramid stage that much if played there in 2019.

I think they'll do it tbh. Main sticking point would be cash and they'll both be aware of how little it pays..

Yeah. I've said for a while that I think they'd take a lower fee (to a degree) for another shot at that. I mean, how much money does one person need, ffs? Especially if it's surrounded by a second tour.

Not that they need it as well, but we all know what the Glastonbury headliner coverage can do for record sales, and everything else that comes with that.

While I agree..

It doesn't necessarily have to be 2027. If they want to milk the reunion further, they can keep the "Pyramid Stage Redemption" card in their pocket and play it pretty much whenever they want to for example if things start to slow down. As long as they give GFL sufficient notice, then they can basically name their year.

I don't see another suitable year when they can perform at this festival. I hope Liam won't be an ass and agrees.

Agree, while they have nothing to prove with the success of the comeback I reckon the prestige of a famous Glastonbury headline is a legacy they won't resist. Both have a  strong connection with the festival and Noel was probably imagining an epic headline slot while gazing out from Pyramid during LCD Soundsystem in 2024 😃

Yes.

I’ve got a comment a couple pages back with venues. Etihad, Cardiff and Celtic Park all confirmed as definite.

Any idea if there was any truth to the rumour the other day (I say rumour, some Twitter random), that they'll have a June '27 residency at the Etihad; essentially every weekend and midweek?..

Hope so, mainly because it’ll rule Glastonbury out pretty quickly

Yeah, that's the main reason I'm intrigued.

I think the rumour was that they'll announce in May? There's either gonna be a GSH or, like you say, they can be ruled out.

Original information I got was 10 nights at the Etihad. I thought I'd already posted this, but I've just checked and I've said several nights - apologies.

Sorry, saying a list was probably the wrong term to use.

Only info I was given was 10 nights at the Etihad and I’m fairly sure it was 5 in Glasgow and 5 in Cardiff. I doubt they’ll only do those 3 venues though so I’m sure someone somewhere will some more concrete info soon.

Turns out I did. Those 10 nights might well cover June then if someone has been given info on June being the residency.
