Open'er Festival 2025

Let's start new topic of Opener Festival, 2025!

 

Confirmed dates: 02-05.07.2025, Gdynia-Kosakowo

 

Possible names for next edition, based on rumours so far:

• Fontaines DC (did two headling concerts in Poland with the same organisers)
• The XX (new album coming out)
• The Cure, Chemical Brothers, FKA Twigs (cancelled concerts from 2020 edition)
• Imagine Dragons (rumoured tour for 2025)
• Olivia Rodrigo (rumoured for euro festivals in 2025)
• Travis Scott
• And some personal wishes like Pulp, Justice, Tame Impala, St Vincent, Sam Fender.

 

Possibly ruled out due to own gigs in Poland: 21 pilots, Billie Eilish

 

Who do you think would apprear in the 2025 lineup?

Maybe it's time for Fred Again, after missing out for straight years?

Nice list! I think it's hard to add anything atm. The only big name that comes to my mind is Childish Gambino, who is rumoured to be doing festivals next summer.

I think they’re the 3 names which are being mentioned for every festival, from this to Werchter to Mad Cool, to Pinkpop etc…

 

There’ll have to be a few more big acts around than that!

Of course, something will show up, just like in every year's circuit. I think Olivia is most certain as she did not perform with her tour in Poland. What are another possibilities for rock headliner? I was betting The Cure, but they decided to not play festivals... I think Linkin Park should play stadium in Poland if they're here next year. So Green Day is the most obvious choice at the moment.

It's been couple years since I've last time attended Open'er and the first announcement batch made me to buy the ticket for 2025.

 

I'm curious has there been some changes to the stages in the previous years, e.g. Is there still the electronic music stage that opens late in the night? I guess Main, Tent and Alter stages are still present? And silent disco used to be cool as well what I remember 😄

Main, Tent, Alter, Silent Disco - all still there. This year they removed the Electronic stage (Beat Stage) though. Hard to predict if it's going to come back in 2025.

She's around next summer? Nice.

 

I enjoyed seeing her at the Royal Albert Hall, which was no mean feat given I had such an appalling stomach ache and spent the whole thing sat down. So seeing her without that kind of chaos would be a treat.
