Good announcement . So maybe raye / massive are co- headliners and we need 2 more headliners. Raye is also headlining other festivals

Isn't Gracie already more popular than Raye and Massive?

I can see Opener concluding todays announcements with NiN btw.

Possibly, but the only festival I know she’s headlining is TRNSMT.

at mad cool/rock werchter she’s not headlining , but I guess it could work as a co-headline with massive attack because that’s 3 strong names for one day on the main stage

Guys, RAYE is not headlining or co-headlining - it would be expliclity stated during the announcement. Obviously, it can change, if they fail to book another co-headliner, but I guess they already have one (that's why they announced MA as co-headliners).

It looks they are not headlining either...

They are. Open'er always indicates who's headlining by putting them on top of the artists list at the webpage. Maybe they'll get a co-headliner, but to call them "THE star" of the day surely makes them a headliner.

Judging by the website it seems Gracie Abrams is co-headlining Wednesday. A strong name with a different audience than Massive Attack, so it's a smart move, I think.

Anyway, great news about NIN, my gf likes Gracie a lot, so we're happy. The line-up is shaping up as very diverse, which we like the most about Open'er 🙂 And it seems we're going to come back to Poland with a group of friends this year 🙂

Yes, but take a look at last year program: https://opener.pl/program-2024

The headliners are ordered by date. Now, Linkin Park are the first name, even though they’re playing the last day. That's why I think LP are the only headliners for now. You may be right about NIN co-headlining (although I think they are still trying to get Olivia for that day).

Also, I think Gracie is not co-headlining, it would be stated in the announcement.

Anyway, the lineup is really strong and there are still around 20 international names to be added. May be one of the best editions in the festival’s history.

The Polish version says 'star' 😄 I guess they are still negotiating with some big name for that day (Olivia?) and want to keep their options open - either by announcing a real headliner for that day (that's way NIN are named a 'star', not a 'headliner'), or by bumping NIN into the headline slot (or co-headline) if the deal fails.

    • I'm not sure, they aren't giving any headliner in that format 2hours and Foos would have at least 2. I wouldn't say Reading is likely for them next year either. If they are as said going big on a tour with stadiums and festivals then the UK is once place they can definitely do stadiums and that would rule them out. And that's even if they come back for a second UK stint as I fully expect them in Europe from very early. That could be seen as hyperthetical but there are is some places I cannot see them not doing from history.
    • One problem could be that many of the hospitality packages are already sold out. Unless you’ve a media contact, media organisations normally get a hospitality allocation.
    • I agree on WA taking a year off in 2027. But if they got the call from R&L could see them having a similar August to what Fontaines are doing now. A few random shows + 2/3 other festivals. The festival/LN does seem to love them as well so there is a chance they take a punt.   I did see about Rodrigo potentially doing a stadium in Poland but no clue if that would be 2027 or 2028, I just can't see her at the Fest at all, seems too big in current climate.   If I were to guess the headliners next year I'd go with Fred Again/Foos/Capaldi/Olivia Dean/Biffy or Wolf Alice/Some Rapper, Tems?
