Ultimately it seems like Streeting wants to stand...but he knows if he does so will Rayner only just to stop him, and he'll lose. Not sure Rayner wants to challenge Starmer though and Burnham is struggling to find a way in. Starmer has a good hand, plus he has the evil bond markets on his side.

Maybe we need a general election. Have to see what the King says tomorrow.

more stuff coming out about dodgy Nige and Boris and money to influence the 2019 election which will be obviously glossed over as the media want Nige as PM

I mean...that's coming from Ben Habib.

But maybe I'm just saying that because I actually want Nige as PM.

Surely press releases from No.10 are govt propaganda. It's whether they're factually correct or not should always be the question

Which Labour politician would be most effective against Farage?

Al Cairns is the only one I think who could outmanouevre him.

I dint know enough about him to make a judgement. He reminds me of Dan Jarvis in terms of people thinking his military record will excite voters. I’m not convinced it’s something that Labour voters are that bothered about.

I still think all paths lead to the king  of the north as the person with the best chance of winning the votes back from both Green and Reform.

People seemed to love it when happened under Truss.

Paul Mason has offered to do a tutorial on why the bond markets won't fall into line

When Paul Mason is the voice of sanity, you'd hope we've hit rock bottom regarding the quality of politcians we have in this country but I doubt it.
