Ok so what weird and wonderful things have you found at Glastonbury festival ? Was sent this last night and made me smile from the great memories. Away from the main stages what have you enjoyed ? What have newbies got to look forward to

Got to agree with you about Rimskis yard, weird wonderful and funny. I got roped into one of their crazy acts last year. Embarrassing but gave folk a laugh!

I was dragged into an act that included a stuffed cat, a rusty pram and a top hat. Fortunately mrs c was too busy laughing at my humiliation that no photographic evidence exists.

I think the weirdest stuff I've seen at the festival has no place on a forum...I certainly wouldn't have taken any pictures of it! I would say that the "weirdness" of the festival has reduced somewhat since I've been going. A lot of the areas which were edgier, have been sanitised a little.

I've got a "weird" story from the Lost Vagueness days, but it may not belong on a forum.

Agree that the "weirdness" of the festival has reduced somewhat, although that may be an understatement.

it has but there's still plenty of stuff to enjoy similar to above , might not be quite as risqué as you were thinking but fun and random never the less

Sure, plenty of stuff to enjoy, absolutely. Beyond an abundance. I guess it depends on your interpretation of the term "weird". 

I wonder if we'll ever see a return of edgier content? I suppose it's divided into what's created in each area and the type of behaviour or people it attracts? I'm not trying to be edgy myself here, I just feel that's one of the major differences from my first festival to the most recent...and I never attended in the 80s or 90s, sadly. No doubt, the differences between then and now are chasmic. But then, making comparisons wasn't what this thread was created for. As you were, everyone. 😃

Love all the weird and unexpected bits. I joined a Kazoo band for a while last year. So much fun 😂 Didn’t get the uniform but I did get to keep the kazoo
