Zach Bryan is ostensibly a country artist, but he's closer to the popular chart-bothering troubadour Noah Kahan, even getting his own top 10 uk hit earlier this year.

He already curries favour with the Fantano and Pitchfork type of music fan and his ceiling is a lot higher than the Morgan Wallen and Jellyrolls we're having foisted on us.

He's got oscar winning actors starring in his videos. He's big time, baby!!!

Yeah this, he’s closer to the Boss than someone like Morgan Wallen

I said in the BST Hyde Park thread that I had no idea who he was. Clearly, way bigger a deal than I figured.

Would be good to see some of the more modern country acts give it a go. Zach Bryan, Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton. Even Post Malone with his newer releases. Saw Chris Stapleton in Bham on Tuesday and he was incredible

morgan wallen is sh*t live. But its cool you really want that racist pos at glasto of all places lol. Stapleton or Bryan would be really good at the fest cause they dont come off 100% country and that comes down better since its just good songs. Sometimes people need to get past that label for some artists. Sturgill Simpson would knock the doors off if he ever got a chance at glasto.

Kacey Musgraves is horseshit? Plenty of people here love her. I wonder why. Oh, good music goes beyond labels, thats it.

You don't need to be so defensive over things you like but others don't. Just like over in America, a lot of people don't know popular acts in our country or our festical. No one even knew was Glastonbury was when I went Coachella. Country isan American thing no doubt.

Caveat emptor, but The Currant Bun are claiming that Gaga ain't touring next year.

Quotes a 'Live Nation source'.

Clearly depends on what their intel is into her plans. But that would rule her out.

Now that is interesting. No shows at all, or heading back to residency territory?

Vegas Sphere perhaps? I know she did a guest appearance there during one of U2's shows so presumably the organisers of that giant boondoggle will be wanting a big name like her to turn up.

Sold out a stadium tour this year over here. Thus why he is doing Bst.

I mean, not every US stadium tour act necessarily translates to playing that level over here.

Said last time playing the UK was two shows at the Islington Assembly Hall, which is sub-1,000. Though a year of playing US stadiums would get you used to playing shows of that size.

I hate to say it to, The Post also says Lady Gaga would be in plans but her plans don't align.

Stevie Nicks says she gave Lindsey Buckingham "300 million chances" in Fleetwood Mac

I don't think Fleetwood Mac are going to be at Glastonbury tbf but this recent interview with Stevie Nicks summarised by NME saying she hasn't spoken to Lindsey Buckingham in 2 years does make one wonder if this restarted reunion is still going to be a distant affair.

I'm not saying they've got it all right, positions etc but a lot of it is adding up.

Yes, that would happen if you take all the current rumours and expectations, and sum them up with nothing new of substance.

Sorry - nothing new of substance apart from, amusingly, specifying "Friday" for O-Rod, which now appears to be wrong.

    • Don Broco secret set.
    • Regarding PinkPantheress: I watched the ending of The Cure from the back and then bolted straight to Cupra to save spots on the steps for my entire festival crew. Thus, we all had a good experience there. Sucks that not everybody got to properly see it, but it felt like something out of Glastonbury where those who showed up long in advance got to see a big artist on a smaller stage in good conditions.
