Ah, OK. Thank you for the explanation.

Interesting, wasn't aware there was such history.

Forgot as well tbf just how f**king massive a crowd Dolly drew when she was in the Sunday legend slot.

I mean I have no evidence it’s anything more than a coincidence they haven’t played since that, but it would definitely make sense.

Linkin Park are headlining. Just got a text from a good source. Really surprised with that, could be looking at a SZA sized crowd.

GIven they have anounced the London as there only UK headline show in addition to there being no consecutive dates In the tour to Let Emily's voice recover between shows. I'd say given the London show is the Glastonbury Saturday. They are ruled out of appearing at festival this time.

I'd say your mate is pulling your leg.

Linkin Park headlining without Chester, presumably.

Unlikely I’d be there, unless they brought Jay Z along, but at least it’d be loads less boring than The 1975, Fender or O Rod

LP headlining in general. Chester may not be there but it was just a case of I doubt the info is true at all. I don't think you can probably headline Wembley and say oh they can't do it without Chester, it's just very unlikely to be happening.

Am I the only one who will be at another stage for O Rod and also the 1975 if that's who it turns out to be?

After Coldplays performance last year being such a spectacle it will take a hell of a show from anyone

You’re not alone

Olivia won’t be bringing out a person with Parkinson’s to perform ‘Fix You’ so she’s already an improvement on Coldplay in one respect

Think there will be plenty going elsewhere, but think there will be plenty there too. I'd argue there won't be a SZA-style crowd for any of the three mooted acts. The 1975 likely draw the smallest, but by no means are they going to be disgraced on numbers by the other two.

Nope, I’ll be at another stage too. They’ll both pull in a decent crowd but not for me!

Haha I struggle to slag Coldplay because J Buckland is from the next village over and his aunty was my English teacher in school. F Chris Martin though

    • Generally shorter too, I imagine. 🙂
    • Will that work for arenas with seats? People will have their tickets on their phones and needs to find their seat.
    • Excellent new release from overpass today - well worth checking out.
    • Having lived here for 2 and a half years now my take is that security, safety and organisation are just not a priority in Spain. It's not even exclusive to festivals. It's a part of everything.   Simple example. I'm Irish and in Ireland if you assemble a construction site you have to adhere to a lot of regulations about cordoning off the site so nobody can enter and get injured. Here, you're walking down the foot path and suddenly without any warning you're in a construction site. If not, you'll suddenly find yourself directed onto the road to get around the construction.   Life is more laid back here in general. Pros and cons.
