Hello togehter, does anybody know if there is a cooking facility (water kettles etc.) at the HIVE Resort like it is at the 'normal' HIVE?

Thanks 🙂

Comfort zones

The Hive aims for quality and  comfort. That is reflected in more showers, more toilets and more water taps for campers. These facilities will be located in various comfort zones spread across the campground. A shower costs 1.5 Coin at The Hive, and is free of charge at The Hive Resort and The Hive My Space. Toilets are always free of charge and accessible 24 hours a day.

There is a small bar with a terrace. Campers can also cook/heat up their own food in the cooking area, which will have microwave ovens and boiling water.

The comfort zones are open on Wednesday from 6 pm to 10 pm. On Thursday to Sunday from 8 am to 6 pm, and on Monday from 7.30 am to 11 am.

This is for the Hive, on their website

I stayed on the Hive Resort 2 years ago and wasn't happy as they didn't have any cooking facilities. We got friends who were staying at the MySpace to bring us some hot water over.

Thank you for your answer.

Would really suck to have not even hot water ...

Anybody here who stayed at the Hive Resort last year maybe there were some changes...

Hey guys, I’m selling my ticket to The Hive Resort. The pack called Nomad 2, with includes:

  • 2 campsite tickets for The Hive Resort
  • 1 reserved space in The Hive Resort car park
  • hire of a 2-person tent, including groundsheet and 2 made up beds and a lamp
  • free usage of showers and sanitary facilities
  • access to Central Park

Original price is 520 euro, but I can sell for 500 euro. Let me know if you’re interested

Anyone know if it´s possible to watch the Euro games in or around the festival area (except the Hive resort)?

There´s even a chance Belgium might play the quarter finale Friday or Saturday.

I think they played Belgium vs Brazil at that Jupiler Towers area or however it's called, right from the main stage with all the food but it was slightly different layout back then. I don't remember seeing non Belgium games played at the festival ever

Soon time for Werchter. What are you guys going to see? I will watch these bands:

Friday: Tom Odell/Tom Morello - dEUS - Måneskin

Saturday: The Last Dinner Party - Nothing But Thieves - Avril Lavigne - Dua Lipa

Current plan:

Thursday: Gaslight Anthem - Hives - Johnny Marr - Black Pumas - Slowdive - PJ Harvey - Nathaniel Rateliff - Jane's Addiction* - The Streets

Friday: Sprints - Beaches - Simple Plan - Tom Morello - Declan McKenna - dEUS - Archive

Saturday : Last Dinner Party - Kooks - Janelle Monae - Avril Lavigne - The Blaze - Khruangbin - Dua Lipa

Sunday: Bluai - Brutus -  HotWax - Breeders - Scowl - Idles - Soccer Mommy - Pretenders - Michael Kiwanuka - Zara Larsson - Foo Fighters

Some of that may drop off, particularly on the last day when I might not be too keen to rush between stages.

Why? Rock Werchter is in 3 days. They have a show in 2 days as well that's still going on as of now

Luxembourg cancelled now, I think they are gone.  It might not be Perry Farrell who is ill, but he was certainly struggling with his voice when I saw them in Glasgow a few weeks ago.

Enjoying streams, looks like a great atmosphere. Tom Morello did not need to sing Killing in the name, audience sang it all the way

Saw him at Graspop last year with pretty much the same setlist (except he brought Slash and not the dude from Maneskin as a guest) and it was so much better this time. Was perfectly fine last year but this was amazing. It seemed to me Tom Morello was in such a great mood from the start

Yes a big turnout for them. A fantastic gig!

Havent been to Werchter since 2018. It feels… overcrowded, doesn’t it?

I dont remember having to wait 10-15 minutes to go from The Barn to the Main at 3 in the afternoon.

    • It was awful during Father John Misty and I was close to the front. People just shouting and laughing their f-ing heads off about nothing in particular and being louder than the bloody stage.
    • Other things I noted yesterday, away from the obvious…   Positives: - an extra water point towards the back left of the main stages has appeared, which I believe is new for this year (and was much needed) - handing out free ponchos was a good touch  - caroline were fantastic. I’d never been in the Auditori Rockdelux before, it’s a wonderful venue and a great venue if you fancy a more chilled out environment  Negatives: - the talkers. I know it’s always bad here (and most festivals nowadays) but f**k me people wouldn’t shut up yesterday. I wonder if it was partly as a result of people being at artists they had little interest in (due to rain limiting their options), although it wasn’t great during blood orange. We’ll be making an effort to get a spot nearer the front for anyone we particularly care about over the weekend  - not enough staff around (and the ones that are there are largely useless). Most other festivals have them everywhere and are happy to help
