Tuesday is a great day at the CV fields. I’d suggest bringing some food and drinks for a party and not rely on the food vendors as it’s limited. Absolutely go to the top of the Hill of Death from late afternoon onwards, it’s a really great atmosphere, lots of people congregate, beautiful views across the site, and there’s a little band who do a busking session as well. Chat to people, good chance you may bump into some eFest people. -
99 was one for the ages to be honest, some amazing performances. Underworld in particular was immense, just a pulsing sea of bodies that it was a joy to be part of.

2007 was the absolute worst for me. There were lakes of liquid mud in some of the fields. I remember watching Amy Winehouse on the Pyramid with mud nearly at the top of my wellies. Getting off site wasn't much fun either. Had to wait 11hrs in the car park with no food or water, until I could be pushed out by a tractor. 2016 wasn't great, but an absolute breeze in comparison to 2007. It didn't actually rain that much during the festival, apart from the occasional, sometimes heavy, shower. 2011 was fairly muddy until late on Saturday when the weather turned hot & sunny. By Sunday morning a lot the mud had dried up and you could wear trainers. The Weather on Sunday was absolutely glorious. I remember watching Kool & the Gang in t-shirt and shorts.
