Kind of hoping for new name this week?

me too, wonder if next one will be another single band or more, how many acts usually announced until end of the year?

finger cross for FNM, Supergrass and Seasick Steve.. what about Beck that now announced for Down the Rabbit Hole also too much to hope for?

In 2018 QOTSA were announced in September, Nick Cave early December and Alice in Chains on 20 December.

Inmusic is unpredictable.

They almost never announce more than one international band at once. Only time was Black Honey / Fontains DC this year I think.

Relatively happy with that. No idea what his live show is like these days. Last saw him about 20 years ago and he was good then. I hope he’s aged like a fine wine and if not at least it will afford the cathartic experience of standing in a field screaming “I’m a loser baby” at the top of my voice....

I saw him a few years ago at RW at he was one of my highlights of the festival, perfect act for The Barn.

    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
    • I have a spare campervan pass to get rid of.  unable to use Kaboodle as it is only entry that they re-sell
