It's almost inconceivable that an act would release an album in February and not have a tour after. It will already be planned.

He will be playing bigger places in the summer, likely stadiums.

If he's there it's an easy headliner really for me to skip. Easy headliner to put The Prodigy against. I like a couple in Seventeen Seventy and Homesick but it probably stops there. But the described heartland rock isn't really my thing. It's a bit just too mellow rock and roll.

Bought two tickets for the 10th on presale, but managed to get two for the 12th - as dates worked better for me (Vampire Weekend Brixton clash).

Anyway, therefore have got 2x seats for O2 Arena 10th Dec - Block 110 row H - basically back right corner lower tier - going for face value.

Thought I'd offer first dibs on here if anyone wants before they go on Twickets/AXS resale for face value.

Sam's just been announced as a headliner at Rock Werchter on Saturday July 5.

Didn't realise he was that big in Belgium. Although tbf Editors headlined it so maybe they are just in a position to take a chance on him.

Roskilde is also announcing some names later today. Could be they also have him?

Edit: No....

2022 Third down second stage (cancelled a few days prior, leading to a domino effect that led to Turnstile subheading Metallica to a bemused and confused crowd)

2023 Third down main stage

2025 headliner

Decent progression. They bumped up Maneskin to the top last year too.

He's done well there, to say I wouldn't think of him as a European pull.

Editors are very big in the Benelux region, aren't they?

For me it's mad to think now I'm not sure Werchter can actually match this years headliners for me. All 4 of them were for me...in fairness it was probably my year to go. I had 17 acts I could have seen nearly clear of any interruption with the Saturday main stage being gold for me.

I did spot as such being discussed in their press release about the confirmation of Fender to headline status that he's progressed through the ranks to bill-topper status.

Bloody hell did he pull out of a show as well, that looks even worse. To be honest Maneskin is bigger than him in Europe and just better.

Maneskin have had a 7, 3 and 1 peaking albums in Belgium. Sam in two different categories has had, 14 and 69 and 16 and 87. It's a stronger booking than Lenny Kravitz but I think that was quite clearly the weakest one

    • Another Kraftwerk one for me today, as just back from seeing them.
    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
