So what did they do differently this year regarding the tube? Or was it just easier this year as there were less people than last / more leaving early?

A lot of people left after Bastille. I left after 14 songs and I flowed on out with a load of people on to an empty tube

Curfew was a lot earlier this year, Catfish finished earlier than the app said they would as well.

We walked to the other station and then went to acton town as it was the next stop along and like the tube seats were obviously full but it wasn't that bad, plenty of room on the tube (until the BST people got on anyway)

Probably to make lovebox 3 days right? London has enough festivals like Citadel honestly, I reckon APE will be having another indie day again though to suck up the demand like they did in 2018

i'd say it's also about there being less rock on the live agenda, and more urban/pop.

I really enjoyed Citadel as a festival. It had a different feel to most other indie festivals (Field Day died for me a long time ago and now has become more electronic, and I'm yet to experience APE). Shame to see it go, always had a good line-up.
