The hill was the same both times I stayed at WV in 2017 and 2015. It a narrow path with wide steps in it, looks different to your picture.  I don’t know when this was put in but there’s no issue with mud (altho I didn’t go in 2016). It’s less than 5 minutes to get to the top and that’s even at a slow pace

That looks a flippin' long walk from there to JP!

It's not going down in the morning it is coming back of a night . If u leave pyramid after headliner I reckon it's 40 mins due to crowds by se corner and other stages etc emptying out

I don’t see walking around Glastonbury as actual walking though. You just never know what or who you’re going to see from one minute to the next, it’s entertainment.

“Walking” starts after you leave the perimeter. And from there, it’s probably 10 minutes to your tent. Even then, we always used to stop for a cheese toasty and a cig at the entrance to the WV campsite, sit and take in the view of all the twinkling lights and discuss our highlights of the day.

The flip side of that is its a 20 min walk home from the SE Corner afterwards, rather than a 45 min walk back over to somewhere like Hitchin Hill
