Tbh that’s reasonable these days

maybe so, I'm seeing the cure in Leeds in December and my top seats were cheaper than paramores. i'll just get nosebleeds as its 22 quid cheaper.

Thats cheap ya'll. I wouldve been super happy with those prices here. Mind you, in the u.s it might be those numbers before fees. So likely $100 for seats alone. And they know the audience is a little older now and wont want to be in the pit.

They were charging $175 for a theatre show here with 2000 cap so yeah...

Thats a very fair price, especially with such a big support vs the cheapest artist they can find that half the audience haven't heard of. Weird support, but big nonetheless.

Yeah those are fine for a band with that many bangers and a decent support. Hopefully the European dates, when they land, do a better job of putting them in the frame for Glastonbury.

Hopefully it means they're doing EU festivals around the time of glastonbury

It's those seats prices that get me, you guys must be on a lot more than me if 91 quid for seats for Paramore is a fair price. I think I saw Kendrick for cheaper than that!

There were some very nice prices for The Cure. Was elated with that.

I think if they were announced today they'd be touching 100

Not weird at all. Hayley talked about Bloc Party as an inspiration for the new record. So why not get them as support.

£68.50 for Paramore & Bloc Party is SUCH a better deal than £92.50 for Blink 182 and The Story So Far. Would be all over that if I was a bigger Paramore fan.

that is a good point tbf. they look like a miles better live show as well.

Quite a different genre - would have expected a more emo/punky/pop rock support vs 00s indie rock

their later stuff and this new album aren't really these genres though and i get the sense they've grown out of their earlier stuff a bit (Hayley's solo album also v different)

has anyone seen bloc party as of late? any good?

Think you have to get past what you think Paramore is currently. Theyre grown up, moved mostly beyond their base sound and can pretty much make whatever music sounds cool to them and the fanbase is down with that. The last album along with the Hayley solo releases really brings that home.  Its not 2006 anymore.

“From day one, Bloc Party was the number one reference because there was such an urgency to their sound that was different to the fast punk or the pop punk or the like, loud wall of sound emo bands that were happening in the early 2000s"

tour support for their last tour doesnt read like what an emo/punk band is supposed to have opening at all does it.

The album Bloc Party released earlier in the year was actually quite good and they look like they’re still decent live judging by some of the videos I’ve seen

Nah not these days. Bloc Party fit the vibe of After Laughter perfectly and the first track from This Is Why sounds like it’ll be a similar affair.

fair enough

It's in the same sort of ballpark as Biffy Clyro and Florence & The Machine tbf. Certainly not quite as over the top in price as Blink-182 tix were.

After the Blink 182 hike I was worried about the Paramore price, but it's about £20 more than what I paid on the last tour. The presale starting at the exact same time as Def Leppard's tho is annoying

I've just accepted that for 90% of gigs it will be trying to find a cheapie. The pricing is beyond unreasonable at this point.
