finn_with_1_n
I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that The Streets' tour in April are their only tour dates. Besides I don't really think they are Latitude material (although I love their albums). If they were to do festivals, I'd assume headlining the NME tent at R+L

Guess there's a chance they could have meant those are their only 'own shows', but they've not been announced for anything else yet so as things stand I can see the statement holding true. smileii
Bastille are doing a small ‘Reorchestrated’ tour in April, with orchestral/gospel versions of their stuff. They’re playing Royal Albert Hall etc., and it sold out instantly. It’s the kind of thing I could see at Latitude- potentially as an afternoon ‘Special Guest’ or something? dentalplan
I think because she won’t have an album out it’s the sort of thing she’d take to test out new songs and play hits to an audience of her kinda people - a bit like The National last year. And I can imagine FR packaging that together with a festival in 2019 when the album is out and she’s playing all the big festies.

That there Melt Festival that she's doing described it as a 'rare' festival appearance next summer, so it's believed that she won't have an album out in summer, or else she'd be doing more and also bigger festivals. Hmm she's been working on one for the whole of this year so I'd hope its out around next summer.

Ammonite
I'd guess Catfish (wouldn't be my personal preference, but need to find new headliners to push up the ranks) or Chvrches, Bjork and LCD Soundsystem as the headliners

I don't know if they've claimed exclusivity on any of their acts but I'd assume none of them will be headlining Latitude. I agree one or both of Catfish and CHVRCHES will headline. Hawky
Blossoms in Europe in July. No headline shows in UK. I reckon they'll be the friday headliner. Also, I can see the special guest being Rodriguez (Sugar man).

I've seen them three times now, including Glastonbury this year, and I do really like their material. But compared to CHVRCHES, Catfish and The 1975, they are very small. CHVRCHES sold out Alexandra Palace on their last album, Catfish played Wembley Arena and The 1975 sold out The O2 twice. Blossoms most recently played the Roundhouse on their last headline gig which is only 1,700-capacity compared to 2 nights at a 20,000-capacity venue. I would love for them to materialise on the line-up as I like their debut, but not headline-worthy quite yet imo Edited December 21, 2017 by finn_with_1_n
