lost
Spurs were excellent. Sadly an example of a club where if you keep sacking managers you eventually get the right one.

I reckon Spurs should win it, they are the slightly better team, esp with Mane out depends which teams turn up. Even with Mane out Liverpool at their best are better than Spurs at their best. But of course Liverpool at their worst are worse than Spurs at their worst - so it really could go either way. My prediction is for a Liverpool win*, cos they're just showing signs of starting to click again after a flat spot - they've been better in both of their last two games. (* so now i've gone and jinxed it, put your money on Spurs )

He'll probably be less happy after Levy's sold him out a few times.

The prevailing opinion was that Spurs would struggle to qualify. A potential third top 4 in a row means that its not a fluke by any means. Where did I mention fluke? Liverpool on their day can rip the best teams apart, and they don't need Mane on the field to do it. Spurs can't - yet. Or more correctly, they haven't yet. Spurs are definitely the more consistent of the two, and they're also on the up. I'm not dismissing Spurs as a nothing.
jyoung
Tough game tonight for Chelsea against Roma. Morata will probably be back and we will all be praying he doesn't take a knock. With our injuries and an early kick off against an inform Watford on Saturday, this season looks like it will continue to be a gruelling one. 5 games in the next 13 days is gonna be a huge test. Pressure is on Conte to manage it all.

Ripping teams apart is a different story, spurs are a much better side than Liverpool. Will be until klopp can rectify there defence. TheGayTent
When comparing two teams quality against each other what's of greater importance - their results against each other or the league table?

jyoung
This whole Mark Sampson report is a joke. He made remarks which were "discriminatory on the grounds of race" towards Aluko and Spence but was found "not racist" despite "treating Aluko less favourably than he would have a player not of African descent". Goes on to say that there was "no evidence to support Aluko's claims of bullying and discriminatory conduct" and that Mark "Not racist but has difficulty judging appropriate boundaries when engaging in 'banter' with players" How the fuck does any of this make any sense? These are all quotes from the same report...

The difference between Spurs and Liverpool is fairly small, so even if you disagree with me and think Spurs at their best are the better team, our difference of opinion is only a small one too. I've heard too many people whose I otherwise generally respect doing the "sure, he's probably racist, but..." thing. "She's a troublemaker"/ "She's bitter and twisted about it"/ "She wasn't good enough for England anyway" This is precisely why people don't come forward with this kind of thing. You end up in the dock yourself in the court of public opinion. We still, as a society, think that adding any 'but' to the end of "Yeah, what he said was racist, but" is fine or relevant. It's not."
