Also love Jims little Model thing that is touring, saw it at the Bankys dismal Land and reminded me of my younger self doing models. I had less police in it though

same here, I also went to the first date on the 'tour' at Bruton. Wish i'd written something on the shipping container now :)

In JC related news, I picked up a limited print for bristols (new) Trinity Centre fundraiser last week. mine is 2/30 :) will be getting it framed shortly.

You're wrong in your suspicions.

I don't get the appeal of someone burning a load of money though. Is it a "oh we're so unmaterialistic, we're going to burn a million quid, aren't we the real deal?" sort of thing?

'appeal' is probably the wrong word, I am fascinated by the act mostly because I genuinly don't understand why they did it, and thats what I find brilliant.

anyway, I've got 'Chill Out' playing now while I do some programming :)

Wonder if Eavis spoke to Jimmy Cauty when he was at the Bruton Art Factory a few months back launching his tour of The Aftermath Dislocation principle.

"Jimmy, the whole destroying money as a statement or as art had been done to death by the time you did it".

It was selling.  They were the highest selling singles band in the world at the time they disbanded.

not at the time of deletion they weren't. And after deletion? They licenced it to others.

Like everything about them, it's self-serving self-promoting bollocks.

Nor do they. This book is brilliant on the soul-searching that went on afterwards:

Love the klf, love everything about them, think Drummond and Cauty are fascinating people.

Hope to god they never reform or do anything else together. Leave it as it is, untouchable, perfect.

Ditto. Thought I'd be very happy for them to do something else together under another banner.

I dunno if it's real money or not, and i don't think it makes an iota of difference, really. If anything, it adds to the myth.

I've got this on my wall that i ripped out the press 20+ years ago.

Omg omg omg Pleasseeeeeeeee let this fucking happen !

I candy count the amount of times I have "it's The KLF" on this forum in the last 12 years. It would also mean I could finally turn to my mates and say "told you so"

I would like to say I know fuck all about them apart from their music and that's the way I like it :)

I just watched that 45 minute (admittedly fucked up) video.

I am now 100% convinced they will play on the Fri at Glasto. Did you notice John Peels voice at the end ?

Its happening folks, just accept it and then get on the train, the last train, to trancentral :smoke:
