If anyone wants early bird tickets for 2018 they're available on a 15 month payment scheme now, campervan also available and thursday tickets but not emperors yet.

I'd hurry though

I agree, that's that sorted now then! and I got a live in ticket for the first time just in case there is some farce with emperors, I've never had a problem getting emperors but do read all the complaints each year and think one year that will be me!

I've purchased ours (at an eye watering £900+ before emperors!) merely because it says you get an early bird link for the emperors.

for note the adult ticket comes through at £133.95

Does that include Thursday sir ?

Any rumours on Belinda C that have led you to get your cash down early ?

4 adults & 2 teens Thurs and tickets comes through at £912 but £60 a month is a lot more palatable!  Will sort the emporers when they come on. Haven't sent the lovely Belinda a facebook message for a while actually or hid in her garden tree that has that great view into her bedroom window.

Maybe it's one of those things as an insider surprise!

There will be hell on when people realise the tickets are already on sale and that the campervan tickets have all been snapped up before anyone realises !

Do you get people people without live in vehicles camping in a pitch?

I know it says 'Only cars towing caravans will be permitted entry' but it doesn't say on the booking page that tents aren't allowed. What's to stop a number of punters walking in with a 7m x 7m tent?

I've got a feeling they stopped that last year, previous years were rediculous an I old have actually recommended people with big tents getting a campervan ticket rather than emperors. You could park up and pitch up next to the car. Drive out when you wanted cos there were fire breaks either side and everyone set up in logical lines.

I think more and more people caught on to this so they tried to tighten up last year.

they sent everyone in the camper field an email last year ............ come clean if you are using a tent or a non sleeper vehicle and we will transfer you to emperor now or if you wait until the festival you will not gain access to camper van field and you will be escorted to general camping . apparently alot switched to emperor.

    • Generally shorter too, I imagine. 🙂
    • Will that work for arenas with seats? People will have their tickets on their phones and needs to find their seat.
    • Excellent new release from overpass today - well worth checking out.
    • Having lived here for 2 and a half years now my take is that security, safety and organisation are just not a priority in Spain. It's not even exclusive to festivals. It's a part of everything.   Simple example. I'm Irish and in Ireland if you assemble a construction site you have to adhere to a lot of regulations about cordoning off the site so nobody can enter and get injured. Here, you're walking down the foot path and suddenly without any warning you're in a construction site. If not, you'll suddenly find yourself directed onto the road to get around the construction.   Life is more laid back here in general. Pros and cons.
