If anyone else is interested then they should check out the making of every Depeche Mode album on youtube. They are absolutely fascinating documentaries and go into really deep technical detail about how they did everything. They go from Speak and Spell right through to Delta Machine. They are also the only documentaries I have seen that have been official. Insight is provided by all the band and this incudes Alan Wilder and Vincent Clark. They are essential viewing for Depeche fans and fans of electronic music in general.

Depeche Mode will tour Uk arenas later on in the year. Yes Saturday will be a bit of a monumental gig for them in the Uk, but you should definitely get the opportunity to see them later on in the year.

You could also go and see them at a stadium gig in Europe after Glasto. I am off to Munich next week. It has worked out far cheaper than if I had attempted to go London.

My mate is leaving Glastonbury on Sat to fly to Rome to see them.. I've got a Heineken T-shirt for him as he loves Heineken but on the back it's gonna say something like

To be fair to your mate @guypjfreak I was extremely tempted to leave the festival, fly to Berlin and then go back to the festival. 

My favourite band in my favourite place. Withe the amount of stadium gigs they are doing in Germany it would have been a little stupid to have done that though.

 If it had been a one off gig, I would have had no hesitation in handing back my Glasto tickets and having a weekend in Berlin instead.

Yea I had that with PJ a few years back but as I'd already seen them the wife overruled me 

What I don't get is why Mr E didn't get DP to play Glasto there mega bigggggger than some ginger bloke...
