I know I should know this or be able to find out easily but the frenzy has hit after the reminder email received today!

How many balances can you pay off in one transaction to save all those £7.75 transaction fees?

Can you still pay for parking on arrival - unsure of how many cars we need to take down at the moment - potentially less if a friend can take his work van!

yes but it is slightly more expensive I believe can't remember if is £5 or £10 more !!

don't need to head into somerset .. just across it :)

Well yes, across it, we have moved 15 mins further away since last year, now probably 35 mins from the start of the queue.

last year we could have walked to the site in less time than we were stuck on the A37 for.

TBF I haven't dared look at the National Express page yet. It's not cheap though is it.

I've done both SeeCoaches and NE. No, it's not super cheap, but I'd pay a bit more than I have to already just so I don't have to drive home on the Monday! Sunday night last year was my second >24 hour up all-nighter in 3 nights, so I would have been a bloody liability, let alone not in any way legal.

:)

Does anyone know the price for disabled parking and do you still have to buy one when paying balance?

Disabled parking is free as long as you submit a request form into them, had to send photo of blue badge too. Don't know if you are using spring ground - but there is a shuttle minibus service that drops you there.

compare it with parking in a city for 5 days though ... split a few ways is not so bad

At least if you parked in a city centre for that much you wouldn't have to walk far to get to your destination.

Most cars will have 3 people in 4 at a push so your looking at £15 per person.

Ridiculous

unfortunately the local landowners have been upping the amount they have been charging to rent the land that we park on ... so either the festival pays less to its charities or the car parking charges increase .. unfortunate but true ... perhaps try some of the other alternatives that the festival offers .. like cycling .. national express busses .. see tickets busses .. or the train to castle cary and free shuttle to gate A will get you a lot closer and save some walking .. but due to the scale of the site yes some walking will be involved to and from the car parks

    • Maybe hopeful but get Knocked Loose on the Sunday opposite the legend. Similar to the slot Turnstile had in 2022. Would be absolutely phenomenal.
    • One of my personal favourite bands at the minute - MUNA. Was very surprised not to see them booked in 2023 with their last album but hopefully they'll be around next year. Very fun new album from these guys and, as aforementioned, another standout for me at Big Weekend.
    • Absolutely second this. Were great at Big Weekend and already have a great catalogue of songs forming so far. Would love to see them on the farm!
    • A mixed first day for us. First of all, we were honestly quite shocked that there was no security check at all at the VIP entrance around 7:30 PM. No bag check, nothing. I’ve attended Primavera many times over the years and this felt surprisingly lax for an event of this size. Did anyone else experience the same?   Another disappointment was the communication regarding the weather situation. Primavera has some of the best sound systems and speaker setups in the festival world, yet somehow they were not able to make a single clear announcement explaining what was happening. Instead, people were expected to read tiny messages on screens in Mordor while thousands were left wondering what was going on. A simple and direct audio announcement would have gone a long way.   On a lighter note, this guy absolutely made my day. Sitting right in front of the Estrella Damm terrace, wearing nothing but a long-sleeve shirt, jeans and a pair of Converse All Stars, he remained completely unbothered by the rain. While everyone else was looking for shelter, he sat there wearing sunglasses, calmly watching the crowd as if he was watching a movie.   Absolute main character energy!
    • I think my party got pretty lucky last night, at least compared to some of the horror stories over on Reddit. I was very impressed with Father John Misty in particular.   Perhaps my view would be different if I were a big Massive Attack fan or whatever, but right now my feeling is that if it's not safe for the shows to go ahead... then it's not safe for the shows to go ahead. I'd much rather they were cautious than roll the dice when it comes to something like that.    Here's hoping everyone has a better day today.
