Sigrid's ascension after winning Sound of 2018 has been ridiculous tbh

She’s decent in fairness. I wasn’t surprised about the sound of 18 as BBC seemed to be pushing her as far back as Glastonbury last year as someone to watch.

Can’t see her headlining a stage but would be very surprised if she wasn’t on the mid card and maybe playing fairly high up the NME one of the days.

Who's in the pool of possible headliners then?

Kendrick Lamar, Foo Fighters, Royal Blood, Paramore, Arctic Monkeys, Florence + the Machine, Imagine Dragons, Fall Out Boy.

Is there anyone I've missed that we might expect?

BMTH too. Think the only act we're certain on is Kendrick which, in the current young demographic of the festival is a huge booking. I'm hoping more Foos, Arctics and probably RB, but would love a huge surprise there. I don't listen to much rap / grime which is why I didn't include Kendrick but no denying it's a huge booking for them if true

30 Seconds to Mars (I know they’re not everyone’s cuppa tea)

Would alt-j be possible for Co headlining, I know they’re playing Latitude?

Cant think of any other particular viable options due to tour dates.

Don't think I can see 30STM headlining, probably co-headliner at a push, more likely sub though. Although, worse things have happened.

I love Yaeji as well, but if we’re looking at who’s going to have a bigger 2018 I’d safely say Sigrid is gonna take off and have major mainstream appeal assuming her album is as decently produced as her EP and Strangers.

Jared Followill (think he's the drummer in Kings Of Leon) just liked Grimmy's tweet about the announcement tomorrow. Just saying.

Edit: he did

I'd love to see BMTH there. Although, I think they're more likely to play Download 2019. Only started listening to Kendrick recently because of all the hype around him on here, and I don't know why I hadn't listened to him before, he's incredible.
