Following this thread just because going to NOS!

40 days but worth waiting... who are the subs? Foals and Tame Impala. And who will play after? Hot Chip! You can't beat that :P

Are Hot Chip definitely on after? I've a funny feeling that they'll clash.

You forgot jagwar ma, courtney barnett and father john misty are all on that day as well. If I can see all 7 of those acts that's potentially tbe best run at a festival I'll ever see

People are calling this the 'End of Radiohead'. Surely they won't leave all of their UK fans with 3 Roundhouse shows only the lucky few could get into? What do you guys think? They can't do that to their fans can they?

I don't think it's the end. They will definitely make another record at some point. They are too close as friends and have such great chemistry to call it a day forever. They might go away for a while, but they will be back I think.

It's a load of bollocks.

I don't think they generally like big tours though. Maybe they just want to do some more intimate shows first.

Selfish the way London sucks everything up like  a vacuum.

What would be wrong with a night in London, Birmingham and Manchester?

Someone finally included Birmingham in a list! Coming from the midlands, it costs so much in petrol and general travel to have to constantly go to London and Manchester for larger shows

They have too many unreleased songs that many people want as well - looking at you 'lift' - so i really hope it isn't.

Aw man i feel sorry for you, i suppose the easiest for you would be Manchester which is still what, 2 hours by car? I can't even imagine the struggle to get to London

In traffic maybe a bit longer , sometimes I'm lucky and a band plays Leeds.

Newcastle used to be really good but it's rare bands play here lately

Agreed, it's quite sad really that bands don't tour extensively through the UK, especially when they do multiple shows at a single venue. It's mainly Manchester and London now, which for the majority is a pain unless you actually live there.

Shame. I used to live there myself and there are some great venues.

The London centric attitude in these lands is annoying as fuck like.

Big area of balcony curtained off. Orchestra and choir?

How pissed off would you be if you saw them in Amsterdam and they suddenly brought all the bells and whistles to London :P

No but someone complaining that "the London Contemporary Orchestra only played in London!" would sound a fool.

But they are touring an album based heavily around strings, not to mention playing 9 or 10 songs from it. This isn't a very big tour, they could easily have brought the orchestra along with them IF indeed they use one tonight.

Easily bring an orchestra with them around the world? Just put them in their backpack?

Logistically it makes sense if the London Contemporary Orchestra only play London. Though that fact is still unconfirmed.

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if it was £425.  If I recall there was a significant jump about 10 years ago and with the prices of gigs significantly inflating in the last couple of years I can see another big jump coming.
    • I think they are just sold out ..... I find it highly unlikely that the entire arena wouldn't go on sale for a band the size of muse straight away.   Theres also some in those blocks on sale on resale sites
    • Personally, I do hope Fontaines headline next year. Feels like it's their time in terms of the contemporary element - I know 2028 could equally be but I think (and speaking as an old git) they are probably the most significant band to emerge for a good few years, and they've already accumulated 4 great albums, let alone adding 5th, to field a memorable setlist.

    • Alright fair, I thought she only did BST once. Though I do question how that type of pop show will translate to a stadium.
