see now this is a TKOL song i can get behind them playing. didn't think much of it at first but lately it's really been growing on me, possibly in to my favourite track from the album

Yeah this and Codex are the best for me, and I don't mind Bloom or Lotus Flower being played.

If TKOL was just an EP made up of those songs I'd have been happier with it.

Nude!

This setlist is definitely on course to beating the one from last night. Not a 'meh' song yet, and they had already played 3 'meh' tracks by this time last night. That's if you don't include Desert Island Disk of course.

If next Friday's setlist is anything like what tonight's is shaping up to be I'll be a man possessed! You'll see me in the middle of the room dancing like Thom on acid

aye i found last nights a little underwhelming and i felt a little deflated about seeing them, but just a couple of song changes and tonight's has gotten me right back to being stoked as hell. fuck i hope we get a good setlist

2 much better choices tonight though i think. second half of TKOL is much better than the first

Definitely agree, but I still don't want to see more than 2. They have 30 better songs than anything from TKOL.

Odds on Thom keeping the acoustic out and doing Fake Plastic Trees, Karma Police and then a solo True Love Waits?

Before an encore of Idioteque and Reckoner.

somebody just posted Bloom, Street Spirit, Idioteque and Exit Music as the final songs on setlist.fm. either total guesswork or somebody has had a sneak peak at the setlist (or it's over and i'm just not up to date - not watching stream)

I won't post it here in case people don't want it spoiled, but the setlist for tonight's show has just fully updated on setlist.fm so I reckon someone at the show has seen a copy of it.

oops already posted it... meh, doubt it matters

no Reckoner or Weird Fishes which is disappointing, but can almost be forgiven for the songs they did play

edit: or Paranoid Android! mad

    • People who're struggling are already priced out, so I don't think a bump in price will affect who attends. There'll still be a cross section, leaning young. I also think they'll do a soft breaking of the £400 ceiling, keeping the ticket price just below but having postage take it over. Next year the ticket itself will be over that threshold.

    • Not sure if this has been mentioned but new La Roux album out November - was meant to play in 2020 but hasn't found her way back onto a lineup. If any excuse just to hear this absolute banger on the fields next year!
    • Yeh, the quiet camping also seems to be on the same side (broadly) as the bits of the festival that go on the latest (Far Out / Chai Waalahs / RTT until 4am). We're always in Tangerine Fields which is right behind the main stage and as soon as that and Rising Stage are done it's pretty quiet (midnight onwards) which I'd guess is pretty similar if you can hack taking all your gear from the car past the big tree in the middle and into the campsites that side.
    • Can't see Bimble line up anywhere - am I being dense and missing an obvious release somewhere?
