Afraid flights are not refundable. I can't see festival selling out either. The last few announcements seem unlikely to start a rush for tickets.

Im sorry to hear about your flights.

I dont agree with you about the last announcements. The last one isnt appealing to most of us here but Goose and Puggy are Belgians and  big there ( I assume that based on Puggy headlining KluB C). Dont forget that most of the festival goers are Belgians..

Cheers for that.  I do appreciate festival is Belgian and has to cater for local crowds.  Think what's pissing me off is the bands or artists who could have been there but are booked for other festivals.  RW is so limited for other things to do if you're not into bands they are offering.

I gave the last announcement a chance and listened to everything on it and honestly wouldn't watch anything.  From last 20 odd announced Beck is only one I'd go see.

It's a complete lack of rock bands on any day other than Friday that's my problem. Call it popdancefolk werchter instead.

Totally agree :/

My program if it's possible, and waiting for other names, with acts I can't miss in bold:

Thursday : Ryan Bingham, Kaiser Chiefs or Walk Off The Earth if no clash, Nathaniel Rateliff, Gütterdammerung, Paul McCartney

Friday : Gary Clark Jr, BMTH, BBR, problem if ATDI and Robert Plant clash, problem if The Offspring and Parov Stelar clash, Rammstein

Saturday : The Struts, Kensington, Band Of Horses, Glen Hansard, PJ Harvey, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tame Impala, Editors

Sunday : Vintage Trouble, Bear's Den, Iggy Pop, Foals, Beck, Macklemore, FATM, Skunk Anansie (too many clashes)

Thursday looks a bit poor to me, even if the three bands in bold save the day.  On the contrary, Friday has too many good bands, Saturday is finally OK to me, but Sunday is complicated, the rock bands on this day are not my cup of tea and I agree with @lightning1000 and @Red Day when they don't like the names of this day. Even if these bands have a big success, they have a common pop orientation which is not enjoyable for every one...But it's a global trend nowadays in big festivals which are not specifically orientated (such as Hellfest :) ) , it could be worse (hi V festival!). So it's probably the best european line-up for pop and rock lovers, but it can disappoint. I'm happy with this line-up, but I hope that 2 great rock names will complete Thursday and Sunday so that it could be as awesome as past years. :)

I think it's telling when Thursay and Sunday main stage could be booked for V Fest minus Macca and not be out of place.

According to Clashfinder, the remaining names will be (as far as I can tell):

Thusday: James Bay - Grimes - The London Souls

Friday: Kendrick Lamar - Nothing But Thieves - Anderson .Paak

Saterday: Jamie Woon - Bazart

Sunday: Bloc Party - Jack Garratt - Coasts

I am happy with a few of them, but I hope RW can do better than that.

Is Tenacious D ruled out?

I could see Kendrick Lamar showing up as a sub for Rammstein to break up the heaviness a little as I've seen that RW have done this in the past. Would also make sense to have a big mainstream act like Kendrick subbing while The 1975 are on in the tent so that everyone doesn't go see them over The Offspring.

Fridays announcement, I know I'm late to the party but I was very disappointed by the announcement as it is just filler for me. I wanted Biffy, All Time Low or Bloc Party and thought we'd have a big chance of at least 1. I even thought the sub spot before RHCP would be taken by Bastille or The National, seems strange they're both around with no performances in Belgium yet and I can't see either doing Pukkelpop, thinking Biffy/Bloc Party will be at PKP now.

Hoping All Time Low take the last main stage slot on Thursday now and Sunday gets a bit better with the few acts left to announce as its terrible!

Chances of wolf alice at this stage? Saw them Friday night and they smashed it, would be lucky to have them.

Not sure on chances but would be great for me since their Leeds show sold out before I bought a ticket.

OK, since no Pukkelpop announcement happened this week I reckon we'll get our usual Friday 4pm batch.

You reckon RW will divide the rest into 2 announcements or they'll go with it all ? (still hoping for Biffy and/or Tenacious D)

I guess there will be still 2 or 3 annoucements... I think that a sub is missing on Thursday or Friday + a big other name on Sunday; so maybe 7 names on Friday (including James Bay), a big name on Monday, and the five other names on next Friday if organizers have not a big hangover after St Patrick's day.

Nah, there won't be a seperate name anymore, that's only preserved for the (co)headliners. My guess is one batch tomorrow, the other one next Friday.

I'm guessing that James Bay is the last Main Stage name on Sunday, coming in between The Strypes and Iggy Pop. Then a major name to play before or after The Offspring on Friday, and on Thursday a semi-big name in between Jake Bugg and Ellie Goulding + a day opener. Those are the only Main Stage spots left in my opinion.

Looking at efests line up for last year it looked like 7 on the main on Thurs and Sat and 6 on the Fri and Sun.  Not sure if that's correct.  That would leave 2 for Thurs and no more to be added to main on the Fri and Sat and Sunday.

Does anyone have the line up for last year and can confirm those numbers.

I'm wondering if any decent names left to be announced or if remainder will be more filler

Barn

Thursday - had 6 in 2015 and 6 already announced

Fri - Had 7 in 2015 has 5 announced so far

Sat - Had 6 in 2015 and has 6 announced so far

Sun - 6 in 2015 and has 5 announced so far.

Again if the efests page is correct there's only 3 names left for the Barn

Klub C would have 2 left to announce for the Thursday, 1 for Friday, 3 for Saturday and 2 for Sunday, assuming it has 8 acts on the Sunday like 2015.

In total that would leave 13 which seems to tally up

And assuming above is correct, Biffy are playing Sweden on the Thurs, so that's them out, unless they were to play the Barn on the Saturday.  That sounds unlikely to me.  Hopefully the National will still play

There was only due to be 6 acts on main stage on the Thursday until Foo Fighters pulled out bear in mind as Royal Blood and FNM were Foo's replacements. I'm thinking similarly this year as Foo's were meant to play for 2.5/3 hours which I think Macca will have therefore only 6 main stage acts unless they open the gates earlier. I'd say 3/4 more acts each day Thurs - 1 Main, 2 Klub C, Fri - 1 Main, 1 Klub C & 1-2 Barn, Sat - 3 Klub C, Sun - 1 Main, 1 Barn & 1-2 Klub C

Was meant to be - Marmozets, EODM, Rise Against, Florence & The Machine, Foo Fighters and The Chemical Brothers

But it turned out to be - Marmozets, EODM, Royal Blood, Rise Against, F&TM, Faith No More and The Chemical Brothers
