my one gripe at Glastonbury is they don't seem to realise nightlife isn't only for people into dance and drum and bass.......

I totally agree and this has always confused me somewhat because surely all those people who enjoy watching bands in the day would also enjoy dancing to rock at night??!!

You're hard pushed to even find places playing indie in the late night venues. I enjoy a bit of dance and especially being exposed to new sub-genres etc (which I always am at Glastonbury), but it would also be nice to have rock/indie venues to go and dance away the night in too. I've never understood why it's so one dimensional after hours.

I'm definitely up for this punk bar in Shangri-La though and hopefully the rock bar that appeared last year will also make a return (and that I manage to find it this year!!).

Oh and Wolf Alice will be a good shout for anyone who enjoys rock (their slow songs aside), as they get pretty heavy live (ish).

I've a nightmare Wilko Johnson / Bejamin Booker clash. Wilko is one of my all time favourites ever since his time in the Feelgoods .... but I also feel the need to see some of the young pups out there and not live too much in the past
