I'll start with a friends band called White City Shakers who are on at 7pm on the Wednesday at the croissant neuf bandstand.

J-pop band Kero Kero Bonito on the wow! stage Thurs 8pm. I'll be there. Played my S.U last year, really nice bunch.

Wheel of Four Tunes on Sensation Seekers in Bella's Field is a must. One of my highlights from last year.

Two seemingly ordinary people dressed as Power Rangers, spinning a wheel (a la Wheel of Fortune) of different music genres and then playing whichever genre of music it lands on for the next 3-4 songs.

It's a right laugh.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday this year I think.

Yes, and then go see him on Sunday to see how the festival can break a man. When I've seen him on a Sunday he always seems to be close to a breakdown. He spent half his set shouting at seagulls once.

Showhawks for me too but also later on he Wednesday on the Bandstand Jon Kenzie is really great - bluesy souly stuff. (Disclosure: He lived round the corner form me when we were growing up, but older so didn't know him but seen him in the local plenty of christmas dos)
