The devils greatest trickwas convincing the UK public that the street food festival phenomena is a credible leisure event.

In Spitalfields there's a Vietnamese Streetfood place and, next door, a restaurant selling "Italian Streefood". What is this new concept?

Yes, it's pizza,

Donar pizza is delicious, as is bolognese.

However, I now stand with the notion of no pizza is complete without chorizo, jalapenos and steak.

Never had Doner nor bolognese pizza but you're right on the money with the chorizo and jalepenos.

Spicy spicy!

Dominos do 50% off on collection with a valid NHS card. It serves a hungover purpose but isn’t my favourite pizza.

That said, it’s better than the bland kebab shop effort that you find on high streets all over the land, far too much dough, undercooked, dull tomato sauce.

Those setting foot in the fair land of Newcastle could do a lot worse than venture into the Grainger Market to the Pizza By The Slice stall. Under £2 for a huge lump. The size of it is bigger than a full pizza you’d get at dinner time at Zizzi which costs £6. I measured!!

I think after Glastonbury, food is my second favourite subject.

On the topic of Newcastle's pizza, do you know any good takeaway places for them? Every time i order one i always end up with a crappy bog standard kebab shop pizza.

Kebab on a pizza scares me.

You aint lived son. BBQ base, Pepperoni, pineapple, kebab meat, ham and extra cheese, 2 for 1 at my local independent, which is only 50 metres from my front door. I've had dominos a couple of times and always been disappointed with the overpriced rubbish I received by comparison.
