People actually eat in these sort of chicken places before 2am? On a weekday? Sober? I never knew!

It does sound tasty though.

Admittedly it's better hungover, but the ones I've been to are tastier, cheaper and less greasy than KFC.

I have a maccies less than 2 minutes walk from my house. Sorts me out when hungover.

I used to live close to a McDonalds and it was glorious. I even got Glastonbury tickets in there in 2008. Unfortunately my nearest one now is a 15 minute bus ride away.

The devils greatest trickwas convincing the UK public that the street food festival phenomena is a credible leisure event.

I was at one in Tynemouth on Sunday, queued 30 minutes to spend a fiver for entry to a field full of 'street food' stalls, each with at least 20 minutes queueing times for them. 2 hours of my life and around £30 spent between me and the wife. Admittedly the food wasn't bad, but jesus, it's hardly a social occassion.

On days like Sunday, the vendors make an absolute mint. Restaurant prices, smaller portions, no cutlery or waiter service. w*nk!!!

Pulled Pork can fuck off as well!

    • Brazil's first half was genuinely dreadful all round, not just the midfield, so they're absolutely not bulletproof. Whether Scotland have the quality to take advantage is a different question.   Tbf, that's as much on Morocco looking good, which I did think was a possibility. They could be a bit annoyed with themselves not to have scored more before Vini's goal tbh.
    • Surely nowadays with so much data analytics available on every division in world football and so much awareness that people aren't suckered in on the basis of a decent World Cup game... right?   Although tbf, from what I saw, Australia's game plan worked very well. But that was as much thanks to Turkey blowing varying opportunities given they created enough chances but couldn't finish, a la what happened with Switzerland against Qatar when they really could and should've won by 3/4 goals.
    • I missed Viagra Boys for a good spot for Gorillaz. Was a nice weekend and festival for me. Would definitely come back, if the line up is right. Get back home safe everyone.
    • The Last Temptation - new Heaven 17 documentary film directed by James Strong. Premiered at Sheffield Docfest this weekend.    I really enjoyed it. Affectionate, insightful, and honest. A nice mix of archival and footage, interviews and clips from the last tour. Martyn and Glenn are like an old married couple.   Plus a snippet of news from the Q&A, Martyn is recording new BEF material, and Phil Oakey has collaborated on the one of tracks. The film shows them meeting in Fagans for the first time in over 35 years.
    • Glad I’ve still got it booked off for my 50th
