Secret resales 2015

because you can have the form filled in, then get the console to auto-submit after 5 seconds with this command

setInterval(function(){$('#add_registrations').click()},5000);

but then the page reloads and the auto submit command is actually lost, so it only does it once. I don't know how to overcome that. Anyone?

I went to see Brian Wilson last night, cheered me up no end

What time did it finish? I'm seeing him soon and need to arrange transport, it looks like a very long setlist!

Whilst this page is up

Couldn't they sell tickets without changing any of the other pages, i.e. without any notifications going off? (not at all saying that they would do that, I'm just wondering)

I'm not sure that the changes to many of the pages have anything to do with the actual sale. I've deleted very many of Siblin's alerts from last year but there's still enough in my inbox to see the the monitored pages change all year round.

Edit: I've misunderstood you there. They could if they want to but previously they've always changed the main page as well. In any case, Siblin is monitoring one of the reg pages and running a script with an unused reg number. If it goes live it would trigger an alert.

Wow I can't believe how huge this thread has become!  We were away Fri-Mon so haven't really checked in since Thurs last week.  We managed to get tickets in the normal resale (well, a friend got them for us - she's very lucky like that!) but we're still trying to get tickets for 4 others.  Shame about the Thursday resale - I was at the office that day so couldn't really keep up with the page change alerts properly.  Sounds like it was all over really quickly though anyway!

Thanks for the EE competition link - have passed on to my friends, as think some of them are with EE.

It must have been about 11 (not exactly sure because of Amstel). It was very good value for money! There was a mini best-of set both before and after they played Pet Sounds, and the band that has been put together is fantastic. Great to see Al Jardine still going strong too :)

Ah ok so he's already doing what I had in mind, I didn't know/remember that, thanks

Make sure you sign up for the waiting list :)

The Waiting List doesn't in itself give you any priority or put you into a queue - just means that (in theory) they should email you ahead of any more places being released. So personally I'd still be checking the page with the list of festivals on every few seconds or so.

    • Christ didn't even see that!
    • It does feel very bland. It would certainly spell another year (my third, I think) away from Pyramid headliners for me. That doesn't mean they aren't worthy, though. I don't follow what any of them are up to, as it isn't my thing. Good luck to them.   You would think coming off a fallow year, they would want one big hitter. 'Big hitter' is obviously open to debate, but that was/is Madonna. Let's have it right. The eggs have gone in that basket, and it seems (as far the rumours go) that it's blown up. So now you're left with another plan B/replacement headliner.   I'm still of the opinion that Oasis will do it, before the Oasis thing is all said and done. Probably 2028, if they can come to an agreement. It may transpire that 2027 is bland (or at least to some of us), and 2028 is a bit... wild.   Again, though, none of us categorically know ANY of the headliners, as it stands.
