The 1975 also appear to be to cool to upload the full track to youtube themselves, the c**t wipes. (Maybe thats why they got #1 in the UK and US as Spotify /itunes/apple music streams count towards the chart placement don't they?)

Anyway in my search I came across this:

The 1975 song sounds like something but I dunno what. Quite like it though to be honest. Got a bit of an eighties feel to it.

After one listening to the 1975 new song it sounds to me like Duran Duran, I do not know if that is good or bad?

Long shot but there's talk of Radiohead working on their new album. Surely after blowing everybody out of the water in 2009 (as well as being the only headliners that year who actually seemed remotely arsed), surely Festival Republic wouldn't say no to having them back?

Anyone think Haim could subheadline next year? Considering their 1st album got to number 1 and their second album will undoubtedly do really well too. (Not that I'd necessarily want that to happen, but it seems very possible)

I don't know if you're being serious but I really don't think they would

Sure they would. They don't play their biggest hits anymore and would be playing to the biggest possible festival crowd in the UK - and at Glastonbury it's more likely that people go see acts to 'say they've seen them' and become disengaged and bring down the atmosphere than somewhere like R+L where people would just piss off to another stage, like they did in 2009. Plus I don't reckon it'd go down all that great with the people at home either. I'm sure the inevitable negative reaction is one of the contributing factors as to why they never played the Pyramid again.

There's loads of speculation at the moment that The Last Shadow Puppets are recording a second album. It's been fuelled by the dude from Arcade Fire who arranged the strings on their first album who tweeted:

"That rare and thrilling moment when the record you're working on crosses the threshold into Classic Status #tlsp2"

Personally, I love their first album, and a second would be a very nice surprise. If it is true, I'd love to see them at R&L next year. Where would they play, Main Stage sub?

They've not played any UK festival since there last Glastonbury festival have they?

They would do very well at any festival they headline, it's not like they were playing to an empty field in 2009.

Radiohead could play download and go down well. Anyone who thinks they wouldn't be well received at reading is deluded. This is why most on here are full of shit.

Except from radiohead really would be poorly received at reading..

They'd go down alright, a fair chunk of the Reading crowd are into them and the rest would be at some EDM shitfest in the NME. Wouldn't be booked in the first place though since they'd be much better suited elsewhere,
