Only heard it the once but I'm not blown away by The 1975's new single, though it's a solid single track. Hope they're back next year.

 

It's meh. It sounds like they're trying too hard to push the whole "pink pop band" shit thing. I'll probably listen to it again a few times and end up loving it, but I'm underwhelmed. 

 

Coming from the resident 1975 obsessive.

Yo that song is the most blatant ripoff of another song I've ever heard. I bet Nile Rodgers is hunting them down as we speak.

 

edit: oh shit Nile Rodgers didn't even write Fame. Point still stands. He probably claims it anyway.

Agh shame about that.

Although I'm a big rock fan, I couldn't be bothered to actually watch Guns n Roses in 2010 as Axl was 50 minutes late. They (he) didn't deserve to be watched.

Instead my final destination was LCD Soundsystem who were bloody excellent! Which is why I want their return.
