The Scots are alright, I really wouldn't mind an SNP-Lab coalition, would be a pleasing outcome, in fact. The fact that Cameron and Darth Murdoch have managed to hoodwink English morons into thinking that have anything to fear from the SNP after it's been the fucking Tories and LibDems that have been fucking them over for the past 5 years is nothing short of amazing, the electorate a staggeringly stupid sometimes.

Even if Labour won all 59 seats on the exit polls in Scotland, it wouldn't make a jot of difference. Cameron can either do 10 Lib dems in a coalition or 7-9 DUPs to get him over the mark of 323-326 (if you take out Bercow/Sinn Fein). So it's not Scotland condemning anyone really. If Tories make those gains and Labour havent eaten into the Tory marginals as much as needed in England just as much as the loss in Scotland.

My feeling is (if it ends up like that), as most polls put tories marginally ahead of Labour on seats, and with the Lib Dems more likely to work again with the tories because of that, any liberals in Tory/Lib marginals have voted Tory tactically to keep conservatives ahead and to liken the chance of the current coalition as it's the lib dems most likely route to remain in power.

It does however close the gap considerably and give more reason to have a left leaning coalition.

To be fair, they do seem to have voted for a party that wants to break up the country, rather than stick together or at best get more for their section of the country over everyone else. You can see why its unappealing to some.

They may vote for the SNP to be their representatives in Westminster as they feel the SNP will give them more of a voice, but when asked straight if they'd like to stay, they voted in favour of the union. The SNP would be the elected representatives of a Scotland that wants to stay in the union, a Labour government listening to them and working with them would keep it that way, the Tories shouting them down will see Scotland change her mind, it will show that the No campaign didn't hold up its end of the bargain.
