Really surprised that we aint heard any more artist announcements and thursday headline yet. Although ive just discovered Birth of Joy who are immense! I dont know if they were on the line up until recently

Twitter post on greenman today saying Thursday headliner is to be 'unveiled' very soon

Pretty confident Anton Newcombe and Tess Parks are on - GM favorites about them live in Leeds.

Surely not the Thursday headliner though?

Possible, or I did wonder about the Wedding Present? Are they big enough? Not fussed if it is or isn't personally. Tickets came today so I can chill now!

I was thinking they'd play, and would be glad for them too, but would be an odd Thurs headliner...they usually play about 9pm I think so would be early for a dance act. But would be good either way

If GM described the Thursday headliner as 'a banger' I think we can safely say it's Leftfield.

 

I'm happy enough with that, heard the gigs were great but wouldn't have fancied paying to see them.

Might be significant it's announced after Latitude? Plenty I'd nab from there (Twilight Sad, Ezra Furman, Nadine Shah, Wolf Alice)

Hoping that Latitude has changed their mind on their cruel exclusivity over Warpaint. Summer Camp, Leon Bridges, Wolf Alice would also be nice.

Why do you think it would be Elbow? Never seen them before but I thought they would be too big to announce at this stage. They're arguably bigger than anything else playing the festival.

That symbol in the picture is used on the website for "The Courtyard" area so seems the announcement would be something to do with that.

I agree to be honest. I'd have expected them to headline.

Song on the debut called Little Beasts. They follow Guy Garvey and the official Elbow account.
