I forgot to say - the event I attended in which I spoke to Move D was at Oval Space alongside Pender Street Steppers and Fred P.

Pender Street Steppers are another act which I would deem perfect for the beat hotel, some incredible italo disco selections! Real deep cuts from vinyl's left in someones basement released 20 years ago stuff!

Yeah they're so good. They played last year just had a horrible evening slot

magic of glastonbury is you discover acts you missed almost a year on!

If you're knew to them check this set out, one of the best I saw last year

also, one of them is jack j, 'atmosphere'  and 'something' were big tunes a while back by him. And they run the label Mood Hut, 'better' was everywhere last summer

My friend was there and told me it was the best set he's ever seen

I've been aware of them for a while but I saw them for the first time the other night

Yep Mood Hut & 1080p - that whole Vancouver scene - is wall to wall excellent - Pender Street Steppers, Jack J, Lnrdcroy, etc. If you haven't listened to Much Less Normal, for god's sake, do it. This was the "single" as it were, but the whole record is great.

Edit: please wear headphones

Hunee and Sassy J (I am pretty sure Sassy J was the second name given to me) are playing.
Confident that the person who told me Hunee was telling the truth, I might of misheard Sassy J though! I did have this conversation in a nightclub

For @Jakkkkobz. NYCD would be the dream, expecting Beat Hotel/Stonebridge

Nice spot! :) Loved Flatland. He's touring at the moment isn't he? Free over Glastonbury weekend too...

I bought this EP almost instantly!

Back in December I was watching Ben UFO b2b Craig Richards and Ben played Needle and Thread... truly beautiful that track

Class, @Matt42 - thanks for posting.

What chance of an appearance at Glastonbury? Slim, I'm guessing...

touring around the place so I can't see why not.

I'd imagine he's an act that's surely on Glastonbury's radar? Thom Yorke is a ginormous fan and BBC 6 Music seem to love him

I haven't checked but has he played before? If he hasn't then that is absolutely baffling tbh

Well, if King Thom is an endorser, then there's much more hope, I imagine. Given such a strong affinity for the festival and that they seem to stick around for the whole thing, maybe there is some influence...

Fingers crossed.

Ooooooh, we need that poster now as the area drops will only come thereafter...

Thom personally selected Objekt to do the remixes for KOL I believe

Yeah I can't help but be excited for the first announcement, but then I keep remembering that acts that I have an obsession with probably wont be on it :(
