Not sure how to quote multiple bits...

The Caribou crowd irritated me a little too. We were a few rows back from the front and the group in front of us had a good wee chat throughout, the peak being "oh this is my favourite song!" which she proceeded to talk through. Still had an amazing time though, didn't let it ruin it :)

I was upset to be missing George Fitz, really love that new album, did he play much of his stuff?

I really didn't enjoy FlyLo, I don't know if I was expecting too much. I think his music is amazing, but that show didn't do it justice. Perhaps I didn't stick around long enough, reckon I left just over half way through. The bass was just too much, couldn't hear anything else... My leaving did result in quite a nice moment where I ran to catch the end of The Who and managed to stumble into my girlfriend watching it by herself in a full field. I went not knowing where she would be standing at all.

Interesting that it was still irritating in the thick of the crowd. I sort of thought we had just gotten caught on the outskirts area of a crowd where it is more crowded than in the middle where there is a nice amount of space. Anyways, glad you were still able to enjoy yourself.

I'm a big fan of the new George Fitzgerald album as well, and we were happy to hear him play 4 or 5 songs from it. Was so nice to hear those songs on a big system.

The FlyLo set was sort of strange for me. I think mostly because of the small crowd. I can definitely see not being into it. For me it was just such a treat to see one of my favorite artists at my favorite festival. I live stateside so I have been fortunate enough to catch him a number of times in a variety of different venues. It really made for a bizzare merging of two worlds to see him on Sunday night in the West Holts field.

Was less than 10 mins last year. Buy as many as you can if you get through - help out your mates/actual fans so touts can't profit. Tho it's through dice a d I have no idea how they do tickets - all e-tickets I think...

I think that Dice tickets are just held within the app on your phone so e-tickets essentially, no idea if you are able to send them out to other devices though? Think there was a 4 ticket limit on Ticketweb last time? Although can't actually remember - seem to recall my mate picking up 6 from another site instead.

    • TOP 10 acts (top 5 in bold😞   Blood Orange (ciutat)   Guitarricadelafuente   Oklou - Looks like I'm capable of enjoying music in the rain after all, just not the whole night.   Rilo Kiley   The Cure   Jade   Depresión Sonora   Gelli Haha (Parc del Forum) - Her music never really clicked with me. Until I saw her live.   MARINA   Six Sex (ciutat) - I was shocked how supersmall the venue was and that almost everyone (except for me) knew every word of every song (including the ones that were released this weekend!).   Honorable mention:   Ashnikko - missed the first 15 minutes (because of Gelli Haha) and I'm not really a fan of her music, but the show was an absolute blast.
    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
    • Similar feelings to a few others on here. Not my personal favourite edition but a long way from giving up on it. Felt overcrowded at times and there are just too many people there that don't seem to like music that much! Hardly went to main stages which was the plan. Highlights Ralphie Choo, rusowsky, Gorillaz, Geese, Gelli Haha, The Sophs, PinkPantheress, Dijon. Accommodation booked for next year. Thanks for your company and comments over the past year.
