We're staying in the same b and b that we have for the last two years about 10 minutes drive away from West car parks.

Aim to be out after an early breakfast (and last shower) by 8.00 and, fingers crossed, parked up by 8.15.

But, I bet we're not set up before 11.

Last time we did that was 2010 and we queued for days! This year we are testing out the "kipping in the car for a bit" in the car parks Tuesday night.

Ooh, good luck with that!

We're stopping in a Travelodge in Bath on Tuesday night. Will be up and out to hit the car parks about 7am-ish on Wednesday. Not as close as we usually get a hotel but we left it a bit late this year and it was the nearest / most affordable option.

Thanks for the inspiration CG, trying to live like that but it's hard to be inspired when you're working in credit control.

Leaving Coventry around 9pm, stop at mcdonalds near the site and then get there for about 12-1pm to join the queue.

Hoping to get some sleep this year in the queue, ruined the wednesday last year by not getting any.

We're not sure how the car park thing will go, in previous years we've stayed locally and been in the car park at 6am, last year we all met at a Maccy Dees nearby at 5am and convoyed into the car park and started queuing, but that meant driving through the night for some folk and it knackered them.

Cockbaby- is it awful being in the queue all night or quite fun? We're thinking, car for a few hours then queue about 4am.

Genie- Bath is lovely! :)

Hot soup, ot bath (not in the soup) and a lie down. Hope you feel better soon xx

oh and vitamin C!

That's it.

I'm out of a job.

Well, it was a good career, but it was inevitable that in ther end, the internet would kill the medical profession.

Now, where was that advert for the tea rooms on sale in Dorset...?

Cheers for the advice

I'll try the bath with some orange juice, i dont really do soup

Soup defies the laws of physics. It is both a liquid and a solid. Mind blowing.
