Afternoon, I'm off work again today cos my stupid ear is driving me fucking nuts. Its like a bubble with a heartbeat constantly throbbing in my ear and gonna go all Van Gogh if it doesn't stop soon!

Afternoon, I'm off work again today cos my stupid ear is driving me fucking nuts. Its like a bubble with a heartbeat constantly throbbing in my ear and gonna go all Van Gogh if it doesn't stop soon!

Sounds like one of two things. An inflamed eusation tube which will have trapped fluid in your ear thus amplifying bass sounds.

Olbas oil and anti inflam gel sort this for me as does not being 'stressed' about it as that makes it worse.

or

Tinitus, which is not just a ringing in the ear it can be lots of other things. The 'bass' sound version is worse when I am tired.

Hello Lucy how the divil are ya!? In previous years its been just before Glastonbury so I shall either be celebrating or drowning my sorrows.

Either way I shall be in an incomprehensible state of inebriation :)

I'm good thanks! Trying to work out logistics of dropping my car to the garage as I have a busy week, it's proving to be quite tricky!!

Just before glastonbury is a good time to get results, we eill celebrate or commiserate with you!

Poor you, mixed day weather wise around cumbria, got an early finish so im heading home and will finish some work stuff off when i get home

Cumbria really is a beautiful county which i dont appreaciate enough at times

Neil had done some updates to the site. For some reason it just caused issues for people using iPhones. Took a little while, but he got it sorted.

Should get a decent phone..... :beach:

It's funny how you tend not to appreciate where you live sometimes! I live 20 minutes away from the New Forest. I should go loads but I don't!

I love those moments when I look out of the window and the cows are looking over the wall and I look at the horizon and it's just pretty good!

      Didn't stay up for the S Korea Czech game, but entertaining highlights. Lots of very good chances created by S Korea with poor finishing.    Czechs definitely more in that game than S Africa were against Mexico, but Mexico S Korea looks tasty in the next round for that group.

      I thought the first was absolutely clear, and while I didn't like the 2nd from the 1st angle, once there was another angle showing it to clearly be an intentional slap I didn't have an issue.   3rd felt harsh to me though, cynical foul but I'm not sure that'd be a red in the CL by 'denying a clear goalscoring opportunity'.

      Great! Weather was very hot during the day, almost unbearable in the afternoon, but it was nice that it was still warm at night. I watched Nation Of Language, Oklou, Ethel Cain, The xx, Gelli Haha and Ninajirachi. All of them were excellent! Heard good things about the Kneecap show too.
