I've spent my day in a field wearing shorts and having lots of fun

I feel I've really channeled the NFR NFC spirit today, I might break out a cider to celebrate

well my day took a downturn. i was heading off the the match, got the car cleaned on the way, and had the roof down.

got to the stadium, went to park the car and the roof wouldn't go back up. the motor appears to have gone. i couldn't leave the car. i had to miss the game. all repair shops are shut and it isn't secure to leave it like that where i live. so i've had to bail to my mum's, cos she has a garage.

and i doubt the thing will be cheap to fix.

the gods of show-offery took their sweet revenge on me today, but, on the plus side, the gods of sunshinery seemed to be encouraging me to be out in lovely weather.
